    A Petition section for gaming

I would like a petition section for gaming to be set up. The reason why is so we can petition things to be put in game and things to be added.

Like i petition for old school games to get achievements when you dowload them of buy them

I would like this to happen

    Thanks to Spyrde/Sylar

Videogame petition threads, and videogame petitions themselves, have always failed.

The forum just doesn't need it, in my opinion. Not only will it not be very active to license its own section on the forums, but those type of threads just never really ended on a good note. I don't expect it to be any different now.

Make a petition for a petition forum, get a thousand people to sign it, and nothing will be done

Why don't you just go to petition online and make threads on a case by case basis, then send it off yourself?

Not that anything will happen. The reason online petitions rarely accomplish anything is that there's no personal information recorded outside of a name and email. The "signatures" are easily inflated by a single person if desired. There's no reason for anyone to take them seriously.

This is especially true for court cases.

I understand that, but that's beside the point.

You can understand why the results of online petitions are rarely trusted, right?

Meh. I think traditional letters are a better and more effective way to protest. You get a petition signed by 5000 people vs you get 1000 people to actually send a letter to them.
The latter will actually force them to read a couple and pay someone to throw the letters away.
