This as the author himself says can be anything but true, but infact who knows. That revolutionary controller Nintendo keeps talking about could possibly be a helmet in disguise :P
If this holds true till official announcement comes in. I'm pre-ordering this thing. It's too good to be true as it is. Man!

This could all well be the work of a simple person just wanting some attention or making a joke - how legit the pictures here are, is anyone's guess. All we know is a certain Mephisto claims he has received some information about the Nintendo Revolution and one of it's control methods/visualisations: a helmet. Mephesto posted these pics on our message boards . Apparently he's a developer and this check he's holding is a non-disclosure statement that he had to send back to Nintendo to not leak things out.

Well, we at Moz La Punk certainly don't want to give you false information so we say this again: These pictures and information might be false. It would be a shame, however, not to share it with you visitors.

Man, I don't fall for that kawaii stuff. But in this case, I hope the mods don't mind me being totally irrelevant to this thread. That pic you got as your avatar is probably the cutest baby chocobo I've seen. LOL
Anyways to the topic, I don't think this'll be real because this really can be an issue of size or irritation in case of prolonged gaming sessions.

A helmet?.....A HELMET!? DOUBLEU-TEE-EFF?
*sigh* well, truth be told, thinking about it....I wouldnt doubt it...I mean...they did somthing no one was really expecting with the DS, and they are calling this new system the "revoulution" for a reason...so why not, they have nothing to loose, they are already in last place compared to the other two...."A machine so sophisticated that it wont even work properly!"

You know...a helmet would kinda make sense with the roumers of holographs and what not....
But the helmet could be like a secondary means of a controler...."A machine so sophisticated that it wont even work properly!"

Maybe the Helmet isn't the controller but simply an accessory used in Helmet Compatible Games...
The controller could be unique in it's own way to have some sort of connectivity with the helmet.
Cool idea though, just not standard.A Generation Where Anything is Possible

I dont think it would work. The helmet would need to be different sizes also would be expensive.
Edit: Its fake heres the link http://mozlapunk.web-log.nl/log/2771640

That would be a bad move on Nintendo's part anyway. I dont see why people are getting so worked up over the controller. Deep in our hearts we all no its just gunna be some touchscreen dealie.
KHgamer17 is also my XBox Live handle. Please dont hate me, I only play Halo 2..... guess that doesnt help huh? Im a hardcore Sony-er, try not to go too fanboy, Ill accept all facts, but Sony is my Homeboy, but I do play Halo 2. Hit me up if you do too.

I don't think it'll be a touch screen. Seems like you would be looking at the controller a bit too much and not at the game itself. I still stick with my prediction: one handed controllers with like 4 buttons for easy pressing with gyro-controls. That way you could have two of them. That would definatly "revolution"ize the way we would play FPS's

[LIVE]PS3 Launches in PAL Territories
The big day arrives for Australian and European Sony fans, as the PS3 is finally launched.
After delays and disappointments, the citizens of Europe and Australia were able to part with (a lot) of their hard earned monies to buy their way into the next generation of video gaming.
Let’s start with the UK launch. The main launch event was held at the Virgin Megastore on Oxford Street, where Virgin kindly offered to allow the people queuing up in advance to sleep in their basement.
Not a huge amount of people took them up on this offer, but come last night, more people started to show up, until roughly 120 people were waiting in the bitter cold, just for the chance to be the first to get Sony’s new box of tricks.
An incentive was issued to people to queue up at Virgin: a free copy of Resistance: Fall of Man was to be offered to everyone who bought one. Sound like a good enough reason? Well, minutes before the store opened, a Sony rep announced that people registered in the queue would receive, for absolutely free, one Bravia, 46â€"Only true kings die with their people"
