But thats like most fighting games? Plus it does have some exclusive scenarios like kisame vs itachi fight

Wasn't impressed with the demo and to me it just seems like the first and second games stuck together with a few extras. Will probably skip or bargain bin this one. Also..the cutscenes, why did they go back to UNS1 style cutscenes...just seems lazy.

its not meant to be UNS3 thats why. It's still based on the UNS2 engine and their focus was on the multiplayer and amount of characters more than anything.

Generations is basically using all the assets of the first 2 games, putting them together and selling them as a seperate game. Its nothing new and the few bonuses doesn't warrant a new purchase. I will wait till UNS3 or buy it when its $30

its not exactly just a compilation of the first 2 games either.

It has more characters than both first 2 games put together. characters that werent in either of the first two games (off the top of my head, since its 72+ characters in the game):

Raikage,
Mizukage (mei),
Tsuchikage (oonoki),
Danzo,
Kabutomaru,
Masked Madara (serious form, uses nine tails as ultimate jutsu),
obito,
young kakashi,
haku,
zabuza,
hashirama (1st hokage),
Tobirama (2nd hokage),

as well as updated variations of existing characters to match whats happened in the anime so far like sasuke (susano) and naruto (kyuubi chakra).

On top of that it has bonus anime content on 8 of the characters for the story mode (which is more like a traditional fighting game where you fight > cutscene > fight etc). For example, theres a fully animated cutscene of madara + ninetails vs hashirama.

plus online mode has been updated with quite a bit of new content such as tournament mode, survival mode, character customisation etc.

Also the actual battle system has had some tweaks and additions like the substitution bar etc.

I highly doubt uns3 will have all these characters in, unfortunately. Most of the younger gen characters will be absent.

Enjoyed today's episode, though Im wondering how much of it was filler and how much was from the manga? I'm guessing the whole ostrich thing was filler cause he was originally a filler character and the Deidera/Tsuchikage bit was from the manga?

Speaking of which, how awesome is it to have Deidera back? Also Tsuchikage is one of my favorites out of the newer characters..he's like Yoda in his height and power.

pretty much the first 50% of it was "mostly" filler. They changed naruto's super secret s rank mission from the manga.

In the manga, naruto needs to take a register of the animals finding out their gender etc. he goes to each animal trying to find out whos female and meal. He struggles with the armadillo since its always curled up. It has the lip stick and makeup so bee insists its female until its found that its male later on.

They changed in the anime for the ostrich and the mafia animals that are fighting over the armadillo -_- cringeworthy stuff, not that this part in the manga was great either XD

Also, i hate how they keep telling naruto about the 4th great ninja war and then later say how they have to keep it a secret. If they wanna change his mission its fine, but why do they mention the war to him? XD the manga never did that

I think the point is he knows there is going to be a war..he just doesn't know it is going to be starting so soon.

This is the one thing about Anime's I dont like. They dont really stay consistent with the power of some people. When I first saw the Tsuchikage in action, i only had one thought. Game over, this anime is done because you exist and that ridiculous technique exists. Seriously, he could just approach anyone who doesnt know him, do that shit and boom, game over. you're done.

But i am excited to see then fight and I like seeing Kabuto. He's one of my favorite villains.

Well, right after the kage summit and the chase for sasuke naruto was sent on the ship to the island straight away with no knowledge given to him about the war. it's hard to say much without spoiling things but what the anime has done may cause anime only viewers to think theres a plot hole later on

and yeah, oonoki is awesome

looking at the schedule for the anime, theres an anniversary special episode around in april so that could mean the start of the filler season or it could just be one of those "break" episodes in between canon ones.

Tsuchikage is the boss. So pumped for the fight. Also with kabuto in action maybe we could see the entire akatsuki reanimated, but that probably wont happen. Even if it dd it will be during the REALLY high profile battles.

I'm not hating on the the Tsuchikage. I also think he is a bad ass old man. I'm just saying with his dust release technique being so impossibly good, I dont see why he doesnt just use that shit on any strong opponent he meets and just end it in 3 seconds. Seeing him in action during the 5 Kage Summit was one of the coolest things i've ever seen in Naruto.

Its because naruto is the sort of guy to risk his life for his friends, and as the whole war is to protect him and bee he isnt told so that he doesnt do anything stupid as he is the worlds number 1 knucklehead ninja. So makes sense he doesnt know
