Theres around 564. I used a filler guide though to skip most of the fillers
The art style was the biggest reason I didn't watch it but seeing a few epic scenes on youtube as well as the funny moments I was convinced and now I think the art style is perfect for the story

Reminds me of how I judged naruto before watching it because of blond haired orange clothing ninja Lol

Back to canon next week

As for todays, a horrible filler. They could have had a zetsu vs konohomaru but instead they have this. I did like the rival rookie ninja they made for the episode.

Just a wasted opportunity imo, war is focused on disguised zetsu's so they could have done something similar with a zetsu sneaking into village and having a face off at the end.

Remember seeing that panel in the manga and my eyeballs falling out XD

I loved that flashback with minato, not only was minato epic but Bee was awesome too for countering Minato's advantage over him with the blade pointing back

what's everyones opinion on naruto's kyuubi cloak after seeing him compete with Raikage in terms of speed?

Naruto is the next yellow flash. (Even though the real yellow flash didn't rely on a tailed beast for his speed)

The Child of the Prophecy has awakened!

But this just proved even more how Sasuke is a BAMF for taking on all the kage. can't wait to see the inevitable confrontation of naruto and sasuke

new episode is out I got more excited from the preview since we're finally getting filler on what manga fans have been asking for: 7 swords man battles wooooot, can't wait. (don't think i've ever been so excited for filler, lol).

What chille said. Story wise naruto and bee hit the battlefield roughly within the next story episode but the last 2 fillers should be great since they focus on the swordsman battle which was skipped in the manga. I wonder if kishi helped with these fillers since they seem to be devoting 1 episode per edo in that fight.

I usually skip intros but I watched it today, and its sick. The tune is catchy and the clips are awesome. They show sasuke's new eyes!

Awesome filler today. Good enough to be canon in my opinion. Like pakura and gari so glad to see they werent sealed up just yet. Next weeks filler ep is disappointing though since its just a tsunade recap from kid series :/ they were doing so well too....

We did see flashbacks for tsunade and naruto during the confrontation of raikage and naruto and that was it. I went back to the manga to check from the two suns part to a couple chapter ahead and there is nothing that shows tsunade drnking sake with the raikage

The next canon scenes in anime will be:

A continuation of tobi with his six paths as he thinks and sets out for war. Tsunade and raikage returning to HQ and discussing zetsus, whilst naruto and bee reach the outskirts of the battlefield

Which by the looks of the anime schedule wont happen until next year since we have a 6 episode long filler arc starting at the end of november to celebrate the 10th anniversary for the anime; which is a seperate story unrelated to the war.

Lets hope filler season is short or atleast filled with more awesome edo tensei focused eps like the last 2

Not bad. I think I was able to appreciate it alot more since they gave both eps together without dragging it out over 2 weeks.
They have definately improved the filler season compared to previous years this could have been a lazy recap of tsunades story but gladly they didnt do that
( those bugs were freaky though XD just bulging like that).

Back to 7 swordsman fillers next week, cant wait to see more of kushimaru ( needle sword guy)

Its still unclear whether the 6 ep chikara filler arc will be shown in 1 day or over 6 weeks. Hope its a day XD

Goid filler ep . They made her pretty strong which was good. That metaphor omoi used about licking was an odd one to use XD

this mini filler arc is the 6 episode ( 2 hours in total) chikara special filler eps. Still unclear whether its 6 eps in 1 day or 6 weeks. Either way they seem to have movie budget applied to them so it should be fun to watch ( which explains why some of the past eps dipped alot in quality)

Ran was a filler character made to remind kakashi of rin or to atleast mirror the events of that flasback. Nothing to do with canon

Its over 6 weeks, so essentially there will be no more cannon until the new year.
