I hear Hidan makes an appearance, so thats enough incentive for me to tune in.

I'm hoping Hidan comes back in the main storyline, I want a more satisfying ending for him..he needs to be properly killed somehow.

Great episode today but I wish the fighting scenes are better choreographed for the main battles.

I'd rather they take a break between seasons to make sure the quality of the show remains good. Fillers massively reduce the momentum that builds up from canon episodes

The filler is pretty good we finding out how Kabuto mastered Edo-Tensei

Some of it is quite painful to watch (i.e. that little girl screaming "Get Out" 100 times), but its been generally good for the last three eps. The Deidara/Hidan conversation was classic.

EDIT: Also, looks like we won't be seeing any canon eps (assuming they go straight from the Chikara Arc back to canon) until Jan 17th next year. Seems like they are taking a break over Christmas/New Year.

im enjoying this filler arc, definately seems like a cancelled movie project the more i see of it.
from the visuals to the pacing you can tell it was made to watch in a 2 hour period

Also, i like sakura but the moment she got punched by the 4 tail clone I lol'd thinking about all the haters doing moonwalks in celebration.

Just watched the last 4 episodes, and I'm glad I did.
This Chikara arc is so good. The fights had so many HOLY SHIT moments

The most recent episode was amazing, looking forward to watching it again on crunchyroll (since I watched a low quality version). Lee and guy in gates moment was epic. I only wish the main fights were animated like this :P

Yeah, I was being underwhelmed by some fights in the cannon episodes...........and then I watched the chikara arc. THAT WAS EPIC

Chikara is the best filler I've seen for Shippuuden yet and yeah it definately does look like a movie. The animations are very good

I used to get them from narutoverse but now that it's down I need to find some new place to get them from.

I have a pretty slow connection so streaming is never a good idea, plus I sometimes rewatch episodes so I'd rather download them than stream them. And the reason I like AVI is because all episodes I have so far are in AVI and I want to keep it the same format so in the future I don't have to hunt for different plugins; plus I've had issues with MKV, and my DVD player can playback AVI... besides being a better supported format.
... I guess mp4 would be good too.

Good to hear we'll have canon episodes so soon again; I was fearing long dragging filler episodes.

Canon starts Jan 16th, last filler epidode is Jan 10th, no episode till then though, 297 and 298 are gonna be epic.

considering Naruto's moments in this arc are way more action packed and meaningful.

the anime team prefer sasuke over naruto so lol that is the main reason

I almost did the same but watched all episodes in one sitting. I HIGHLY recommend this filler. It is one of the best if not THE best filler in terms of production values/animation/fight scene choreography etc

back to canon in today's episode
we also got a new ending song too. It covered about 2 chapters I think which is cool and finally all the epic battles of the war are starting. 1st day of war has nothing on the battles to come now

Downside to episode:
-unnecessary filler recap of war so far. Wouldnt be so bad if they had removed the sakura press conference and naruto interview O_o
- Animation was poor which is a shame, i felt like it never did naruto's epic new moves justice. Maybe I got spoiled by the Chikara fillers animation quality.
