Even in the manga there wasn't much of a fight between Gaara and his dad, however I loved the development they gave Gaara as well as explaining the sand powers he has despite Shukaku being taken from him

However, the preview..... XD Been waiting to see this battle ever since I read it So awesome

And to those of you who are worried about the other kage fights being like gaara v 4th kazekage, don't worry. They are actual fights ^_^ (not talk no jutsu)

Ultimate ninja storm 3 Edo kages confirmed playable

Be extremely careful with ultimate ninja storm 3 news as they have a lot of spoilers already in released scans. If you only watch the anime I advise a media blackout for it. The achievement list released today contains huge spoilers alone.

Also avoid trailers too as they have begun catering to manga readers now with recent trailers.

New episode is out
Story wise it was epic
Animation wise, not so much. Some really bad art dotted about the episode which was a shame Would have liked to have seen more budget applied to this episode and the next.

On the story elements:

Itachi breaking edo tensei control lol, so we now have an undead itachi with unlimited chakra on the good side. Team naruto (naruto, bee and itachi) ftw.

Nagato at the end recovering from rinnegan strain, getting his Uzamaki hair back and going on an onslaught. We get to see overpowered a rinnegan user can get (much better than 6 paths of pain combo in my opinion as Nagato has access to all path powers in his normal recovered state).

Shisui's second eye was the "gift" itachi had stored inside naruto during sasuke v itachi arc which was left there to brainwash Sasuke should he go bad.

This episode covered about 2 and a half manga chapters I think. In the manga the crow bursting out of Naruto's mouth was the cliffhanger of the 2nd chapter. What's interesting is they skipped a few scenes from the manga on gaara's battleground which I assume they've saved for later on (since the anime tends to re-order some scenes from time to time)

I don't know why Itachi still has to leave Sasuke to Naruto, it would be so much easier for him to go to him now and talk about how Madara is manipulating him. Sasuke would listen to Itachi over Naruto at this point for sure.

Itachi doesnt have true freewill, he has to protect Konoha and right Nagato is the biggest threat

yeah I found that odd too with how it feels he doesn't want to do it himself but I suppose he considers himself an outsider to these matters being dead, as in he did what he could whilst alive and it wouldn't be fair to intervene in things like this after death.

Besides, its better Naruto takes over since itachi's ideas were messed up for sasuke anyways XD Using shisui's eye to brainwash sasuke O_O

Yeah but it was a last resort. He says that he had hoped Naruto never have to use it. We are talking about a man who slaughtered his entire clan to save his village. You think he will wimp out on brainwashing his brother?

Anyway, I'm pretty sure if itachi showed himself to sauske, sauske would go ape crazy and beat the sh*t out of kabuto for using his dead brother for his own means. Will be fun to watch though

Itachi already brainwashed sasuke with the idea of revenge and hatred, I see shisui eye as more of a reset button for itachi to use

Itachi showed everyone why he is so damn boss and killer bee acknowledged the fact Itachi might just be superman lol
