Will Blue Dragon info surface soon because of the JST '06?

Apparently I heard that Blue Dragon will be showed in playable form somewhere from July 26th to the 28th in Japan.

We'll hopefully be getting new info about the gameplay soon, did anyone hear about this by the way?

Also, I think Sakaguchi mentioned that a Lost Odyssey demo may surface on the 360 market place, I'm not sure how soon though although I think this is old news.

Well if I remember correctly, it was reported already that Blue Dragon is going to get released on christmas. Heard the same about Lost Odyssey demo too. I really need more info about Blue Dragon, while it has MANY famous and good people making it, I just can't trust that there is that Blinx group doing it. We will see, we will see~

BTW, maybe the reason why they are showing Blue Dragon there is that MS knows that Sony is going to steal the show in TGS.

I doubt that's the reason. The only reason it's able to be shown there is just because Akira Toriyama is on it and seeing as how we have very little information about what happened there with the game, I'd bet it's going to be revealed to us all at TGS. I think we'll get more of Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon, and Cry On on TGS.

And yea, the only thing that has me a tad worried is the Blinx Team that's doing it but seeing the people that are on it besides that, I doubt it'll turn into another Blinx.

I can't wait to see Ble Dragon in action. Its one of the main reasons I'm getting a 360. It comes out in Japan around xmas time, so would that mean an early 2007 US/EU release?

^Kingdom Hearts 2 came out in the U.S. for PS2 in Spring after being released in Japan in time for Christmas so that's definitely a possiblity. And yes, Lost Odyssey is supposed to have a demo on Xbox Live this Summer for the Japanese market. But I'm still trying to figure out how they can showcase a demo for Lost Odyssey before they even showcase one for Blue Dragon.

I really can't get into this game until I know more about how it will play. It has an interesting Japanimation look to it but I don't know what its about (is it some sort of Pokemon battle type of game?) and what the combat system will be like before my interest can really be peaked.

^I'm pretty sure it will be turn based, because the shadows of the characters will do the fighting for them. And it could share some kind of distinction with Pokemon given the fact that Sakaguchi has mentioned that there are numerous types of shadows that the characters can interchange with (ie fat shadows, tiny shadows, muscle bound shadows, you know, things like that).
