A sign of desperation or a real push for the go?

I am now really tempted to get one because no matter what I think personally about the GO and its success, a deal like that is hard to pass up. I have been thinking about getting another PSP just because I am fed up with trying to work out how to get two separate accounts on my 2000.

You do that, they will fly like hot cakes but keeping these systems over priced as they are is plain ridiculous Sony.
im just curious, do u feel that the DS systems are overpriced as well? cuz they dont do HALF of what the psp or psp go do, and the 3 megapixel camera on the dsi is a joke. matter of fact, the dsi IS the same price of the psp 3000, yet psp does more...so which one in your mind is more overpriced?

If there deal comes to North America I would seriously consider trading in my PSP and all my games to knock off a bunch of money towards a Go

Anyone knows, from past promotions, if this works using an US account on an European console? They don't seem to mention it here:

This sucks no price drop to encourage people to purchase this.

now if this was 150.00 plus 10 free games i would be interrested in importing the pspgo but because this isn't really worth it at the 250.00 price tag no thank you...

Re: PSP Go Is Getting Bundled With 10 Free Games Next Month

Sony need to stop pissing around now because things are getting bad for them in the portable market. They need to drop the PSP 3000 to $99 and PSP Go to $150 and come up with a new marketing angle (perhaps concentrating on Minis and franchises such as LittleBigPlanet, God of War, Gran Turismo and Metal Gear Solid). And frankly they need to start giving these games away for free with the mentioned $99 and $150 price-tags. Oh yes, it might be worthwhile bringing out some new colours as well...you know the ones that are in Japan such as Red, Yellow, Green, Blue....you know to make it seem the PSP has an identity of its own. This is the only thing that will save them now from the monster Apple (iTouch) and Nintendo (DS and 3DS) for one year...

Then they will have to come up with a PSP2. Otherwise it is curtains for Sony in the portable video-games market.

Thankyou for telling me the truth! I am going off to sell my PSP now and pick up an iPod!
