Kingdoms is. I dont think FF14 is. It was announced as exclusive last E3 but seems since then, that it will be multiplat.

Perhaps Microsoft might offer it to silver users. I know FFIV will hit the 360 at some point. Theres too much money in it.

I think it has something more to do with how not every xbox owner has a hard drive. Fee's aren't a problem.

Either way the game is exclusive this year which is what the OP was asking, Sony may have payed for the timed exclusiveness if so it won't go multi until either 6 months or a year, if not then SE are probably deciding on it since the whole XBL thing is stopping them.

FFIV has been multi-plat the whole time since it is on the PC as well as the PS3. It is console exclusive for the PS3. It has a chance of being ported to the 360 but since the release is at the end of this year, and S-E have said recently they "have no plans for the 360", then it is highly unlikely they would be able to do a port before well into next year, even if they started now. So, by default, it is at least a console timed exclusive for the PS3 with the timed exclusive probably lasting for a couple years.

Final Fantasy XIV producer Hiromichi Tanaka has said that Square Enix currently has “no plans” for an Xbox 360 version of his game, although he did admit that the company is “still in talks with Microsoft”.Speaking in an E3 interview with RPG Site, Tanaka said the company is only working on the “PS3 and Windows version of the game” at the moment.Elsewhere in the interview Tanaka said that while the version shown on the E3 show floor was running with a full resolution of 1080p, the final PS3 version won’t support this.“The PS3 version will be running in 720p in order to ensure performance remains high quality, but the PC version can go up to 1080p if your machine is powerful enough. What in the world are you two mumbling about? It has been the 360 camp that goes around hysterically screaming "EXCLUSIVE! EXCLUSIVE!" when the game has only been console exclusive, not totally exclusive and was actually multi-plat by virtue of being on the PC also. Examples: Halo, Halo 2, Gears of War, Mass Effect 1, Mass Effect 2, Splinter Cell Conviction, many other examples. From what I have seen, the PS3 side has always been fair and noted some games are multi-plat by virtue of being on the PC also.
