I recently opened up a call for FFXIII to show everyone new scans(via link)... i also had this entered into the official thread to keep the mods happy.

A few moments later my page had been locked.
(for good reasons of which i do understand and knew of before i had even opened the call).

My reasons for opening the call were to simply flag others of an update to the game, as others like myself do not visit the sticky's as these are usually filled with the usual 100 or so pages of common chit-chat.

Now my reason for posting here... i was thinking it would be great if we could flag certain calls/comments to show up as a link in an "important updates" section with a specified time limit of a week or so before vanishing from the "important updates" section.

Would such a thing be possible?

Many others do the same thing as i have done and for reasons of sharing new information. If this could be implemented this could save the mods lots of time from closing unnecessary and maybe even duplicated calls, while also making searching for new information much easier.

Anyways i'd like to hear everyone's comments on this.

Feel free to tweak the idea or let known if you think this is a good/bad idea.
