FTP transfers From PC to PS3 internal hdd......
Where to put stuff, Does anyone on here ?
Does anyone know the folder structure works on the internal hdd of the PS3 with regards to the video folders. They have 2 letters per folder, not just A,B,C named dirs (what I`d expect). And the filenames of the contents of any given folder never match whatever lettered folder it's in.
Thanks.

lol, that's just silly. If you are going to let people talk about what can be done using hacks etc, let them discuss how to do it as well -- it's not going to spread to other parts of the site. I don't see how letting people discuss that aspect also would automatically make the PSU a 'hack' site. If that is the case, I think it already is...

Received my Cobra dongle today. Love this thing! All of my games now work without a disc. I can create backups of my PS2 and PSX games and play them on my slim. Very happy right now!

Ya, it´s possible using Sony full software emulator that was hidden in FW 2.50 - 2.53. Unfortunately compatibilty is very, very low. None of the games i tried were playable although some people have reported that some games work OK.
It´s great to hear about an rsx driver for Linux. I´d like to try it but I have a phat ps3 and I heard there had been some bricks on those models. I´m not sure if it´s been fixed yet.
There´s also been another release of Lua for the ps3 using the pslight sdk. still in beta stages though.
Deank continues to pump out updates for multiman with some nice new features. it´s up to 2.07.01
Showtime media player is also being continually improved. It´s nice to see that some devs are commited to their projects.

Hell no it is not dead. I just do all my posting at PS3Hax. Next big thing is the E3 Flasher once they actually release the dual boot option.

Oh, I wouldn´t say that.
For homebrew you have that Other Dev who continues with his homebrew games.
there was also ports of Paintown and Another world.
New plugins for Showtime. hacks to disable Cinavia protection or change the region of the BD drive.
You can now play your PSX backups on disc with multiman and even some PS3 backups on disc with another app made by Deank.
Theres the Progskeet chip.
ways to reenable your purchased PSN content
The cobra dongle is packing some new features like being able to play your psp games on the ps3.
and if the rumors are true(and its looking pretty real) theres the new JB2 dongle which allows for playing of newer games on 3.55
So dead, no, maybe more underground.
