well i saw the movie 2 days ago and i was quite split on my opinion. certainly not the scariest movie i have seen. even amtiville horror was scarrier. anyhow for those who have seen it i have a question in particular:
[spoiler:3888cc781b]who the hell was that brunette and why was she glowing green? was she the asian chick left in the cave?(very last scene. i couldn't tell if it was the asian girl cause we that scene is a second long or so, and frankly my eyes are t3h suck)[/spoiler:3888cc781b]

I saw it today. It was excellent. Well made horror flick. Anyone out there who likes a good horror flick should give this a watch.

[spoiler:62aa2852cb] why was she green? what they poisoned her? i mean she was GLOWING GREEN. and how in the name of i don't know what, did she make it to the car before the blonde did? with an injured leg? with a super uber injured leg? wow......WOW.....she must PWN!! i mean wow she must run faster than a cheetah and have the healing ability of WOLVERINE!!!!111ONE!1.... either that or she used hax ( /noclip lol )
also she covered the entrance after she got out of the cave (branches were covering the entrance)
oh and another thing. she passed the blonde in the cave without the blonde noticing....god this movie makes no sense! maybe its a noobcake?
oh another thing...the whole "revenge" thing on the asian girl makes no sense whatsoever. it was an accident. a HORRIBLE accident. and you gotta kill her for that? wow.....WOW...this movie is just....WOOOOOOOOOOOW
oh and the whole thing with the creatures moving by hearing only? (they were blind) wouldn't they have enhanced hearing? meaning if the girl was right in front of him wouldn't he hear her breathing? and if she was holding her breath still he should be able to hear her. think about it. the creatures totally rely on hearing. TOTALLY. like totally dude.....lol. anyway wouldn't that mean they would have hearing of t3h win? like super sensitive?
maybe i'll ramble on some more later....

[spoiler:cb8f653e8b]My interpretation was that the asain lady, at the end of the movie, was a ghost, and thats probably why she was glowing green. With the whole hearing aspect of the thing, I thought it was believable. I mean you have to give some artistic lisence to the director. Plus, sometimes you have to go with it. Like, you can't watch Lord of the Rings and say it sucked because none of it could really happen. This may not be the best analogy but thats how I view it. I thought the movie was pretty well made, especially in comparison to all the other crappy horror movies to come out within the past couple years. And yea, I agree that killing the asain chick because she accidently killed the other girl was messed up. She didn't need to be fed to the creepy things.[/spoiler:cb8f653e8b]

I saw it yesterday and I got to say it's slow at first the couple 45 minutes or so then after is all MADNESS, was an awesome movie, if you liked Hostel or Saw you will like this movie.

the best scene was when the thing ( can't tell you what it is) was eating the girl's stomach and she couldn't do anything except for lying down there and screaming, it was awesome. plus I love movies whithout happy endings and this one has one.

I'd say suspense and suprise is what makes a scary movie scary. The unknown is what scares me, once that is identified its not so scary anymore. Thats why I believe Signs to be one the last good scary movies to come out. All the aliens messing with Mel Gibson w/o him being able to see them? And not to mention, the split second with the alien walking across an ally in a home video. It looked believable. That was scary.

well the fact that they showed it and how gorry it was, it just amazed me that I saw that in a movie and people are still bitching about video games.

I think this movie has some really scary moments, but i found some moments hilarious, like the long battles and how the creatures moved around... i kept thinking of smeigel (sp) from lord of the rings and cracking up while everyone was screaming it makes me laugh now

Reminds me of watching signs with my freind. We were watching it and you know how they have it to spook people well of course a group of girls scream at everything but when the whoe crowd jumped and screamed, we just started busting out laughing, we tried to hold it in at some points but we couldnt help but make fun of it.
