Nintendo also said the DS would revolutionize gaming...

i hope the Revolution will "Revolutionize gaming" like Nintendo has said, if it doesnt work then nintendo might have to pull a Sega on us (if you know what i mean)
Playing: Untold Legends: Warriors Code, Shadow Hearts: From the New World, Dragon Quest 8, Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne
Watching: Bleach, Naruto

It wont be anything revelutionizing i think, DS wasnt all to new was it, 6 percent of the DS owners preferd using the Pad instead of the touch screen. And that touch screen couldnt be used for too much. My buddy got one and he was a little disapointed in it, but he loves the minigames in Mario64, thats just about the only game he has that is worth using the touch screen in

DS is on the trail of 6 million its doing well but the innovations haven't been used yet, things might get interesting when more games are created with the microphone and touch screen in mind but man some games are truly addictive, its one of those things you've got to try though so if you don't give it a try you won't know but the touch screen coupled with the right environment is truly addicting beyond belief!

Would probably be two options, one with an LCD and one without, I'd bite the bullet and buy one eventually but not on release, I think thats what most people would do.

E3! Who's going? How to get in...
Can we get some press passes or something, I can get airfare for me and Mercenary, and we can hopefully stay with his aunt and uncle. But it would be nice to get press passes or something to get us on the floor and hopefully get some words in with some key ppl. I'm mostly gearing this at Rebon or PSGamer. Let me know what I can do. Thanks guys!

I think it's really expensive to get in now. The earlier you book the better.

Yeah, If we can get free airfare and my Aunt and Uncle, who live righT outside of LA let us stay that would work. We could even come up with some money to help pay for the press passes. I would be willing to save up like $100 or something. How much do they cost?
Also, if I can get a hold of my uncle, he might be able to pay to get us in. Or maybe get us a rental car to drive around in. My aunt is a laywer and my uncle is a music producer down there, so they make pretty good money.

Why is it so expensive???
So...Rebon how about it....you said we could get E3 passes right? lol
-

Because lots of people, like yourself, want to go last minute, and there is massive demand.

I spoke with one of the attendance managers back in February about the possibility of some of the PS3Land.com staff members attending E3. They said it should be okay, but we had to present two of the following forms of ID:
I explained our setup and that, as non-fulltime members of staff, you won't have things like company credit cards. He said he understood, but the rules were the rules and wouldn't be able to do anything without two of the above forms of ID. It doesn't look like we'll be able to get anyone inside this year -- can you go through GameStop Dusty? Also, will you be attending this year PS Gamer?Resale Tax Certificate

I think I could get the tickets for $500 but we can't afford that..
Maybe PS Gamer could sneak a couple of extra tickets...

I can yes, but seeing as I went last year it will be harder for me to get a pass. I'll talk to my boss later next week at a meeting we are going to have. To see what kind of strings I can pull. It could be possible to get 2 or 3 but I'm not guaranteeing anything.
Another thing is, that you HAVE to be 18 years of age. Its just one of those rules that they crack down on.
So, I'll get back you guys on the press passes.
One last thing, if I do get some there are some rules that the press must follow. AKA, if there is a announcement with a strict No Cameras/Video that means No Cameras or Video. I've seen at least 7 people get thrown out for it, and had there passes revoked.

Dude, I already told you we'd be flying free, I got that taken care of.

It's actually extrememly easy to get free press passes, but not this late. Next year, it'd be better to start preparing months in advance. To get tickets this late seem impossible to me. Good luck though guys, best wishes to the possible E3 attendees.
