Sorry for the crappy video, im not tech savy like F3AR with his hd video capturing software and awesome looking videos.
But here some my setting that seem to show some potential with move and mag. Fine tuned them to your liking but use the settings as a foundation, and do us a favor if you find a better tweaking combo.
Let us know so we can help each other find that ideal setting to let us enjoy some hardcore motion gaming. I recomend than when the calibrating screen comes on screen, rest your arm and move your wrist to point at the dots on screen. And when playing always maintain your arm resting so that it wont capture movements that we dont notice, but MOVE will
Try them out give opinions and suggestions,
Here are my settings

Some gameplay keep in mind this was first day, messing with setting which were a little different from the setting video but were still the foundation.

From 5 minutes of messing with the settings they feel pretty good to me. I'm gonna try this online.
edit: and wow i didn't realize they fixed the problem where when you scoped on something you were aiming at, the gun would center away from the target. that's niceLast edited by Grinchy; 09-24-2010 at 16:52.

You didnt explain what the settings do.
For the most part it looks like Goldeneye's "aim mode" when pressing the R triggers.[IMG][/IMG]

Everyone should wait till after the 2.0 patch to really mess with the settings since they're still bugged in the beta. Especially the bounding boxes, with them keeping your settings even after you swap control styles (casual, competitive..etc).

Thanks man, yeah they do feel like something that you can use I've used it online and got some good results. I managed to scope in on just a little piece sticking out of someones head in the church belltower. I don't think I would of gotten it with dualshock.
The beta Bounding box are reversed for all except normal play. So just work opposite of what you want to achieve to fine tune it. Keel at it grinchy and I can assure you it will feel alot more natural. I'm becoming more adept at it the only thing I don't like is the knife swipe

What are bounding boxes? I always thought it was to do with player movement/collisions so the engine knows if you are hitting a wall etc.

In MAGs case it has to do with the aiming restriction, with a dualshock the aim redicule is centered so if you look left you move left as well. In mag with move you can aim left without moving left.
Just like standing still and aiming you arm around the restrictions are can be altered to your liking. I made my settings to were I can look led and right and narrowed my vertical view. Because the default settings had the vertical bounding box to lenient that you would end up looking at the sky

I see, those boxes in the options are starting to make sense now.

Okay ill try to explain the default settings are just a translated version of dualshock 3 settings. It might seem thats the way to go but, it throws you off for example you look left and with the move being so acurate just a little 45 degree and youll be looking at the sky.
And that was the problem many people were having with move either your looking up and down. To counter this i turned the pitch which is the setting that controls how fast you look up and down. Try it on your dualshock tune it down and youll see what i mean.
By tuning it down you can move left and right and the view stays horizontal. also i tuned down the pointer sensitivity higher than 10, which gives you enough speed to aim and even enough to turn around. any lower and youll turn around slower.
Honestly at first i was having a hard time with move controls, now i feel with enough practice i will be owning, i have played a couple of online games and had some pretty good results. I will say the biggest problem has been turning right because as you do the gun block your view.
As i become more deadly at my current settings i will raise up the sensitivity,
here is a snap shot well a crappy one of a game were i actually went positive 3, which is not bad considering that i havent had much practice because of work, and going to my work out classes.
But so far the game to me feels so much more immersive, every kill feels so much more rewarding but i hope they use 0 as the knife swipe because i dont like the gesture of stabing motion.
hers a pic
