you can come in midnight you'll be last in line but you'll only be there for like 45 minutes (depending if the store lets everyone finish paying for it before midnight) or you could get there at 11 and be closer to the door.

I won't be going to the midnight launch of Black Ops. It's my most anticipated game for the rest of the year and probably most of next year but the only midnight launch i went to was Grand Theft Auto 4. It just seems pointless when i can be sleeping and i'll probably have work the next morning too so i couldn't go if i wanted to.

Yeah fair point, it is pointless when you could get it the next day but it's pretty fun when you go with 8+ friends

The last midnight opening I went to was for my PS2, but I'm kinda tempted, if they have any prestige editions left, maybe.

I won't be attending. I'm a big fan of the series, anyone who knows me well is aware of that, but I've never been someone to wait out for any game. I intend on getting the game, and plan on getting it soon, but I don't seen any urgency in getting it immediately. It doesn't matter what rank you are on the leaderboards, or what prestige you are, but merely how good you are at the game. With that in mind, I'm not concerned with getting the game quickly in hope of achieving a high leaderboard standing.
