Great sig, C-Carcharias!
Here's a drawing I did a couple months back. Being busy with other design projects lately, this is the still the latest thing I'm able to show:

Something i did for my GCSE art, i need to know which version is the best.
Its based off a optical artist called Bridget Riley. I did it with ink pen and water colour but modified it in Photoshop to be printed off for the final design.
Just quote the image of what you think is the best version or if i could make any modifications to it to make it better. Any CnC will be appreciated too.
here are the links to the Deviantart uploads:

I'm not familiar with GCSE art style, so I can't really give you CnC from that perspective, but based on my own general art knowledge, I prefer the second one over the first (the third one, I assume, is just an original scan or something).
Because #2 is so well-done and intricately detailed enough in its own right, I just don't see the advantage to the added transparent shapes behind it (in #1). #2 is also following a theme of refined, bold outlines with vibrant colors within, whereas the transparent shapes behind it in #1 takes away from that quality/consistency, in my opinion.
Great design, man. Keep up the good work. :]

In GCSE art, we are given a range of popular artists to choose from and we do research, explore and experiment with the techniques these artists used and create a final design based on the research and observation drawings. The observation drawings i did are a Fir cone, horse chess piece and an unusual glass bottle.
how about this one?

@Kyaw: Looks better than how you had it before! It's now a toss-up between that and #2, though. I find both to be strong in different ways. #3 has a nice repetition to it (now that your new shapes are solid like everything else), and #2 has more elegance and variety on the outer regions.
@spryde: Epic work there. Her face is perfectly incorporated with the design. Something in me wants to see more going on on the right half, though (just the region of her face and the larger swirls radiating from her could stand alone as a great piece). Overall, great stuff.

@TRF: I like the gritty effects on the character, which mimics the dark mood of the colors, his expression, and his armor. Everything about the visual flows well. The light brings a nice focal point, too. Aside from the font choice, there is no sign of an attempt at typography, though, and it brings down the strength of the overall piece a few notches (it makes the sig appear more suited to be an ad than it does a sig). Overall, it came out nice, but I'd like to see you do more with the text when you decide to use it.
