Hey PSU forum-goers!
For those of you don't know me, I'm Eric Blattberg, one of PSU's U.S. editors. If you're reading this, you've noticed this fine new section of the forum. ...So what is it?
The PSU.com forum section exists for two reasons: we want to improve our team's communication with the PSU populace, and to better integrate the homepage with the forum. In this section, PSU staff members will post threads we feel are relevant to the PSU community.
Some will be article posts that link to content on the main page we want you to check out. If there's a review, feature, interview, contest, or any other type of article we just posted on the main site that we think is pretty cool, we'll post it in here to ensure that you see it. Plus, in these threads, you'll be able to have intelligent, long form discussions about articles directly with the people who wrote them. Now, I can't promise we'll respond to absolutely everything you ask us, but we'll definitely do our best.
Sneak peak posts will inform you of things to come on the site. If, for example, we have a cool feature in the works, or a review that will be up in a few days, you'll often hear about it here before the article goes live.
Finally, and perhaps most importantly, we'll have threads where we ask for creative contributions from you all. When we have interviews lined up with developers, for example, we'll ask for user questions in this section. If anything really jumps out at us an an outstanding question, we'll be sure to ask it -- and if we use your question, we'll credit you in the article, of course. Or, if we want quotes, info, and so on from the community for any other kind of article, we'll ask for that all of that stuff here as well.
Hopefully this little experiment will be well-received. We definitely welcome your feedback.
All the best,
Eric Blattberg

We've been saying this for years and PSU still hasn't listened to users. Then again many users have been saying this for years so I don't count on you to listen now and actually try to get more readers instead of putting up articles about news that we already knew.
We all know that many of us came to these forum via PS3Land+PS3Portal. And I think PSU.com main site is the best way to get more members to the forum.
1) Get a big youtube presence with Video Reviews, and Interviews. (an example of how small companies should do unique reviews without scores Link)
Why? because with more views you can become a youtube partner which will fund the forums.
2) Get more interesting video content like interviews, previews, reviews, editorial pieces and a Podcast perhaps to make PSU a more vibrant site rather than one that just regurgitates old news.Last edited by Firefox; 11-18-2010 at 15:50.

This section is nice, I guess. Now implement a "report spam" feature on the main page... it's annoying going to comment, and getting
"W_ant to k n o w where you can pcik up the best s h o e s for the l o w e s t pr1ces? Try www.spammyspamspam.com"
and it takes up 3/4 of the page.

No idea where to post this question, but I hope this gets one of the editors attention: When can we expect a Dead Island review?
