I think the staff need to get a handle on this before it becomes more of a farce than it is.
o cheers dude, i was only joking. i really don't mind if i win or lose. was just having a bit of fun.

and yeah im pretty sure your post was directed at me, but meh. if I'm mistaken, then i wholeheartedly apologies.

I didn't want to come off as sounding elitist or that I had an agenda trying to get my answer voted on, I just saw things going a disturbing direction in the posts prior to mine and didn't think it was fair to the people who put thought into their answers to lose because the voting turned into a popularity contest or recruiting drive (and having people sign up just to vote and not bother sticking around.) I'm all for member voting, it's a good way for the community to get involved, and you as a site don't even have to do these contests but you do, and thank you for that. It doesn't need drastic changes, just fair ones.

No, it wasn't at you. You put it all there in your answer. It was just a general view of the situation at that time. I'll admit most of the contests I enter are games that interest me that I wouldn't necessarily buy ahead of other games, or games I really want that I happen to have a chance to get for free. There's nothing wrong with wanting free stuff, it's human nature.

I am sure if it was up to the staff.. #18 would have won. Pretty great answer.. the only one who really did answer seriously.
