    An Annoying Glitch

Anybody else think "wtf?" when you run over the same weapon that you're holding, except with a different attachment, and it doesn't give you the ammo?

You need to have the EXACT same gun or you're **** out of luck.

I remember in COD4 you would run over a different weapon that takes the same ammo type (e.g. M16 and M4) and it would give you ammo.

This is nothing game-breaking, but it's nice when these smaller details are addressed.

Agreed mate. They should definitely think about putting this feature back into the game.

If you use scavenger then you don't have to complain about it...or if you don't want to do that and your out of ammo you have no choice.

Ghost is good but when your all out of ammo then what? You gonna knife people or the person that has a good weapon? Id rather have Scavenger over Ghost any day of the week. The fact that the maps (in my opinon) are pretty small Ghost really isn't that good of a perk considering your always within shooting range and you die using that perk or not.

well, I usually use dual mags, which doubles the ammo you start with. it's a good compromise letting me still use ghost. and I usually replace my secondary before im out of ammo just in case i need it later on.

is it really doubling your ammo? doesn't it just make your reload less time for the first time? I know Scanv pro gives you max ammo, but dual mags is just 2 taped together

Does extended mags give you xtra ammo? or is it just a larger clip size?

Im not sure, I think it only gives you a larger clip, say you start with 90 bullets but clip size is 20, add on this attachment and I think you still get 90 bullets but have 30 clip size. I could be completely wrong lol.

Nope, your right on both counts, and Ghost "Pro" >>> Scavenger. GP + a silencer means a knife in their back which saves ammo.

Yeah, Dual Mags is two mags taped together to increase reloading speed and extended mags just give you a higher clip size but don't affect you're overall ammo amount. I always find it funny when I use the M60 with extended mags and they give you 200 bullets all in one clip. I was playing for quite some time with slight of hand which was completely useless

I noticed that too late (I play hardcore mostly, so I never see my ammo left) until I played a side game in a private server, then was like dang it...oh well, you can just hold down the fire button and just keep the bodies hitting to floor

It just gives you a larger clip size. Instead of the regular 30 rounds per clip on an assault rifle you get 45 but you don't get extra ammo.
