Not really. As far as gaming is concerned, the best upgrade you can make is to a 2500k. It kicks the 2600's ass.

GTX 690 SLI MIGHT JUST be able to play metro 2033 at full settings at a consistent 60 FPS

The technology is here, the games are not sadly( or the engine). Imagine a game taking full advantage of a GTX 680, let alone a 690 ( or in Sli)

Well i went an told my friend about the 690 (we both intended on getting the 680) but now knowing he may be getting the 690 in my bid not to be out done i may wait a extra month and get the 690. Though if it's anything like the 680 they wont be in stock for a very long time

The thing i hated the most about my old setup (without SSD) was the fact that it took ages to load all the programs after getting into windows7, now it happens close to instantly.

SSD is money well spent for people with low patience when it comes to load times (be it ingame or desktop).

Yeah I have an SSD in my laptop and I love it. When i get round to buying a new Mobo i'll probably get a SSD for my desktop

Pirating is everywhere, consoles and PC, although it is done more frequent on the latter. Quality games always get good sales on PC, just look at Valve or Blizzard. Those who bitch about pirating are just money hungry, using that excuse for various reasons, yeah Crytek I'm looking at you. They wanted to make Crysis 2 for consoles also due to pirating on the PC and look where that took them. They release a mediocre CODified game that had 3 million sales on all 3 platforms whereas Crysis 1 had 3 mil sales on just the PC(without the heavy marketing campaign that was put into Crysis 2). Just an example...
