Are they Seagate drives?

One is i think, the other is a WD.

It keep loading up saying BootMGR is missing so i tried to repair it using the Windows disc but even then it wouldn't fix it so i used my USB that i keep a version of Ubuntu on to format both HDD's and tried to do a fresh install of Windows and even then there is still a problem with the HDD.

SSD's are falling in price now so it could be a good time to buy one of them for my desktop about now

did you try the drives in other computers?
Having 2 go at the same time makes me think it might be the SATA controller that died.

SSD are getting realy cheap the one I bought OCZ Agility 3 is less than £50 for 60GB now.

They respond when i boot up Ubuntu through USB so i know they are working to some extent and that the computer knows they are there. Admittedly when i tried fixing it last night i had smoked too much so i didn't have much patience and just started to watch 24 instead. I'll probably give it a go on Sunday if i'm not too hung over.

No problem man. I just think that since Tribes is such a teamwork-oriented game, it would be awesome to have some PSU game sessions.

I'm not interested in free-to-play games, at the moment. Not until Phantasy Star Online 2 comes out next year. That game looks amazing.

Yeah, F2P certainly shouldn't turn you off a game such as Tribes cause it is very balanced already

I've put 9 hours into Tribes: Ascend and 5 hours for Blacklight: Retribution. I just don't feel compelled to go back and play them.

Phantasy Star Online 2 will be free-to-play as well but in an entirely different genre. The fact that it's a sequel to one of my favorite Sega Dreamcast games certainly helps to get me even more excited.

That's one of the good things about F2P games. You're not compelled to play them because you wouldn't be wasting your money if you don't. I was just referring to your statement of not wanting to play F2P games. Perhaps these 2 games are not your type.

That's how I felt about those two shooters as well. Liked it at first, then just totally lost interest. Doubt I'll go back to 'em anytime soon. Did not know about Phantasy Star, that's very interesting...

I would have bought skyrim today in a heartbeat if I had the hardware to run it at decent settings. It will be the ps3 version for me I guess.
My laptop can only handle source engine and strategy games lol

I bought Sleeping Dogs... But it won't recognize my 360 controller outside of the menu! I'm not the only person having these problems either.

Anybody know of a solution? It's completely unresponsive during gameplay!
