Anyone try Planetside 2? Pretty fun, just a bit confusing to get down.

Just bought Mafia 2 Deluxe Edition from steam, it had a good discount. I had good impressions after playing the demo, so I thought it will be worth getting it.

Completely agree. Before the game was released i think i clocked about 5 hours on the demo alone. The graphics, the voice acting and as you said the atmosphere made it fantastic. I love the first level in the snow and you just see people slipping on the ice. Little touches like that made the game world such a pleasure to be in.

Mafia 1 was a lot better than the second one IMO. The second one wasn't bad at, but, it was lacking and it didn't improve over the first one very much or at all.

For me, it was the story. Mafia 1 had a fantastic ending, yet 2 ended horribly.

I don't think 2 ended too badly. Just leaves you guessing the fate of someone else. I quite liked that you never reached top dog status.

I tried the demo when it ws new but it ran like ass on due totypical shitty ATI driver problems and to be honest I would prefer to play the style of game on a couch with a controller.

meh I bought it on release, finished it & took it back the same day, story wise it wasn't that bad but once you completed the story there wasn't really anything left to do.
Hopefully Mafia 3 is a lot more Open with a hell of a lot more Story & Side Missions.
I was just as Disappointed with the Godfather 2 as I had high hopes for that

Well now after playing straight 3 hours of mafia 2 i can say that the game is probably one of the most realistic ones I have ever played. The streets look very detailed and alive, the snow and dirt on cars looks extremely realistic and things like gasoline and repair of the motor when its damage make the game great. The story is also nice, I am really enjoying it but cant compared it to the first Mafia story as I havent completed that game. It runs quiet well on my nvidia card, I play on max settings with vertical sync turned off and it runs well most of the time.
