STILL serious connection issues..

Played Black Ops for the first time in a few weeks, installed a new update, thinking maybe the majority of the connection issues might have been resolved, but apparently not. I mean yeah, no servers are perfect, and I could understand maybe 2-3 times an hour joining a match with dodgy connection and having to leave, but it just seems to happen consistently. I joined 3 matches in a row which all ended in either me having to leave because the match was unplayable or the connection interrupted symbol comes up on the screen during a match. I then manage one game which is fine, and then the problems return again. And there is nothing wrong with my internet connection or router, I don't tend to have problems on any other game really..

The game is 2 months old now and the servers are still pretty bad in my opinion, anyone else having similar troubles?

I have to agree entirely!! I play Black Ops and i'm LUCKY if i get 2 bars on my signal strength and it's only just recently happened!!! AGAIN! It's frankly, appaling we're treated like this!! We should be celebrating the arrival of a truly awe inspiring and compelling game instead of CONSTANTLY encountering problem after problem after problem with it! Surely the makers of the game should of anticipated these possible and errors and tried to resolve the potential problem areas there and then!!

Odd, played all day yesterday and only dropped out once due to host migration not finding a good enough host.
Prestiged 4 times now (i think) and the connections have definitely improved for me since the game was released.

What I don't like is when it locks up on the loading screen 'waiting for other players' and I have to reboot the PS3.

I haven't really noticed many problems but there are some, my console froze on me twice yesterday but for the most part I just been playing regardless. It won't get any better it will only be the same as it is now or worse. I don't even complain anymore about it I just play its up to Treyarch and Activision to stop being lazy and fix it or not. Either or, im still playing.
