Another amazing game by atlus. You literally have to play the game 8 times to see all endings (I just youtubed them after beating it last night lol). Like all atlus games, the presentation is through the roof. The characters, the atmosphere I just cant even do them justice. Atlus really makes me wish I actually knew these characters in real life (like all their persona games do)
And seriously this song is BEAUTIFUL

The reason its not a 9 or 9.5 is because the gameplay is one dimensional that doesn't change much

I had to have my laptop open next to me near the last chunk of levels. Impossible that I would have done them by myself

Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch 9/10

I love this, its a perfect mix of two of my favourite games, really glad I bought the wizard edition

Heavy Rain
9/10

I can't remember the last time a video game had me so emotionally invested as much as this one. Intense, brilliant, suspenseful, and tragic. Highly recommended if you haven't picked this one up yet. I know I'm late to the party, but better late than never, right?

It's definitely a game that makes you think. Instead of just mindlessly ambling through the game without much sense of purpose.

I've never thought so hard about how I was going to tackle the situations cuz once a character dies, he/she is gone for good and every choice mattered

Yep this and The Walking Dead game are the only games that have ever created that feeling for me.

GoW - Chains of Olympus - 7/10

Dead Space 3 8/10- I don't see why all the negativity around this game. They did a pretty good of progressing the series IMO. Plus there were some great new additions that put more into the game. Although I think they should end the series here. It's run its course.

Metal Gear Rising:

Graphics- 8/10 Nothing really special about the graphics. Just a bit more than MGS4 in my opinion, and that is a 5 year old game.

Gameplay- 8/10 Fast paced Hack and slash gameplay with lots of combo. It can get a little tough at times on normal difficulty the first time around, but on your second when you have your unlocks you feel like a god.

Story - 6/10 Compared to the others in the series this one falls short, I'm currently on my third playthrough and I don't fully understand it. I think they are stopping some Metal Gears or A nuclear attack... It wasn't that captivating compared to Guns of the Patriots

Sound- 9/10 Fast Paced Heavy music and fast-paced gameplay have never been better, This game gives you crazy guitar solos and techno soundtracks that made even me convert to that type of music. Pure Adrenaline fuelled action.

Replay Value- 8/10 There are a good bit of accessories and items that you will not be able to get on the first playthrough. Plus there are multiple trophies that are difficulty related that can only access after beating the game. So it will keep you busy for a while if you plan to complete it 100%

Online N/A- There is an online leaderboard for scores and medals that you can obtain for sections of the game. There is no multiplayer.

Overall- 8/10: Good game standalone game but it isn't the metal gear I grew up with and love.

So its worth getting then? I use to really enjoy Tomb raider on the ps1, but the ps3 game never really hooked me in the way the early one`s did.

Oh most definitely. I haven't finished but it's well on its way to being one of my top 10 for this gen. Such an awesome game.

metal gear rising
reminds me of DMC and ninja gaiden
up until Armstrong on Hard it was pretty easy beating it
just starting on GOW picked up today

Tomb Raider - 9/10.

Buy it. Awesome game. Very intense, gritty, and morbid. The story is interesting enough, and the gameplay is solid fun. Some puzzles here and there, but they don't require much thought, and they're fairly simple. At least IMO. This game will take you on one hell of a ride, and if you think Nathan Drake had bad luck, think again.
