    8/10

Great story and game play, with some dodgy AI here and there.

Trophies are glitched currently too, along with a dodgy auto-save feature. Not sure if that has been fixed yet.

    The Last of Us 10/10

The game is fantastic, I'm not a fan of the multiplayer, but I prefer single player and coop. The story is nothing like I've experienced in a game, it could've been a movie really.

    Tomb Raider 8/10

Fantastic game and a welcomed return to Lara. It's great knowing that it will set up for great games in the future. Really enjoyed the pacing, the adventure side was magnificent. There was more exploring than gun fighting which was nice as Tomb Raider has always been more about the exploring. Didn't enjoy the QTE at all, even at the end I still struggled. The boss at the end was a little underwhelming

    SuperStarDust HD 10/10

Really this game is the perfect filler game whilst waiting for new releases. Replayability is huge with the leader boards with friends and global. As well as the DLC for survival mode. I'm yet to buy the DLC but will do shortly. The game runs perfect and is great to play

    The Last of Us: 9/10.

Detractors are some really dodgy AI, and some graphical issues. Despite these, still an excellent game. Loved it and will go on to play Hard+/Survivor etc.

    The Last of Us [PS3, 2013] - 4/5

Pretty damn awesome although the story so far is very par for the course. Is it well done? Absolutely. The cutscenes are riveting, the voice acting is top-notch, and the overall production values are fantastic. That said, the plot is one I've seen a million times, where someone is tasked with protecting a special child. It's not done in gaming as much, but forms of media do not exist in their own vacuums, so a story that's repeated in other media must affect the originality of a game. Plus the story suffers from Murphy's law, which states that anything that can go wrong will go wrong; it's a cheap way to pad out a story and a lot of games do it. Overall, The Last of Us is very engrossing, but if this is the best storytelling that gaming can offer, it's just proof that games cannot compete with other forms of story-based art like film, literature, or television, because it stumbles into the same pitfalls that films, television, or books get knocked for.

So far, 8/10. Will re-assess once I get further in game, but so far it seems to be a great JRPG, making me eminence the olden days.

I loved the demo. Will definitely get to this. Studio Ghibli's art style is undeniably gorgeous, the combat seems fun as hell, and from what I understand, the protagonist ISN'T annoying as hell like most little kids in JRPGs.

Still a bit annoying though from the character dialogues... I don't know. Seems like the protagonist, Oliver, is a bit stupid and everything has to be spelled out by the sidekick Drippy for Oliver to understand what is going on.

    Dishonored - 8/10

A very fun and engaging experience, creating a whole alternate world with an atmosphere that reminds me of BioShock, with its own share of powers. The gameplay left a bit to be desired, as there was a lot more potential for this game given the world and ideas provided and I felt loads more memorable moments could have been incorporated. Not to mention that the ending is rather lacklustre. Overall, this is a unique experience providing an amazing world and fun gameplay: a must-play for anyone interested in anything new and different that stands out from everything else on the market.

Same game for Me, but slightly different score. Due to some bugs, glitches and sometimes horrible AI, it "only"
get somewhere between 8 and 9 out of 10 from Me.

8/10 huge open world MMO with great RPG elements and fast paced combat. A must play for comic book fans.

    BioShock Infinite [PS3, 2013] - 5/5

Absolutely love this game. It's very thematic and the story is incredibly intricate and detailed. It's about American exceptionalism, moral subjectivity (a stark contrast to the original BioShock, and repentance for sin. On top of that, the game is beautiful to look at, has incredible sound design (I love the 1912 covers of famous songs), and offers a wonderfully fleshed-out world that can be explored through examining the sights, collecting Voxophones, and viewing Kinetoscopes. The final bits of the game cement the storytelling as some of the greatest and most ambitious in the history of the media. None of it would matter, however, if the gameplay sucked, but it thankfully doesn't. The Vigor system gives the player a great sense of power, the gun variety is fairly wide, and Elizabeth does a great job of holding her own in battle (it's not a giant escort mission). The Skyrails add extended maneuverability to combat, allowing the player to launch surprise attacks and retreat from battle if things become too hectic. Overall, it's an amazing experience, one of the best I've played this generation. It's my favorite FPS of this gen and my favorite game of 2013 so far.

    The Walking Dead [PS3, 2012] - 4/5

This game is a great attempt at storytelling, giving the player choices that can affect the way characters view them. Unfortunately, upon replaying the game, it becomes clear that the extent that the player's decisions affect the game is exaggerated; it more affects character relationships than the actual plot, like I'd hoped. Still, the strength of the makeshift father/daughter relationship between Lee and Clementine is undeniable and allows for some poignant moments. Perhaps as a game, The Walking Dead isn't amazing, hindered by an underwhelming choice system and some technical issues like framerate problems and horribly-written subtitles, but as an experience, you'll be hard-pressed to find a more emotionally-engaging title this generation,
