I am stuck on the boss battle in Oerba 200 AF (Won't post in case of spoilers). Starting to think I shouldn't have just spilled all my CP into the character's main paradyms..nearly maxed out Serah's Ravager and Noel's Commander roles..though the fight is pretty tough.

i reccomend using behemoth too, he wrecks shit up

i think i might almost be strong enough to take down omega o.o each char has three jobs maxed and everything else at 50+ plus with gold and silver choco maxed and nanocho and chihu about ready to fight i can probably make a stacked little team. go me!

by the way going for all the fragments and ultimate weapons really adds hours into the game. ridiculous amount of off story content, and it adds a little more background to the story. really shaping up to be a decent FF imo.

edit: also the encounter and CP fragment skills = victorious.

Noel is One of my fav main characters of recent rpg. He is confident and not whining. Same with sera she doubt a few times but dosent whine.

I agree. Noel is one of my favourite characters from any video game in years.

As for the story, I'm unfortunately only about 8 hours in but so far the story is just turning into a bit of a mess. I hope if they do a XIII-3 or even the next FF mainline title, that it isn't so convoluted

Agreed. I've played about 8 hours, and am hoping the story picks up eventually because it's nonexistent so far, and the j-pop in this game is horrid.

I'm enjoying the battle system though. I just need to capture a behemoth to replace my hoplite.

Just found an incredible hard monster took 8 retrys, 30 potions, 5 wound potions and about 4 Phoenix downs, and i got no reward ;_;
[spoiler] its in academia err its a giant cieth forgot the name lol, had 24k hp and does upto 2k damage a hit [\spoiler]

Just found an incredible hard monster took 8 retrys, 30 potions, 5 wound potions and about 4 Phoenix downs, and i got no reward ;_;

Took me a few tries to win, all i got was 7 power generators behind it, not worth it tbh

omega is not 100% tamable . asshole is hard to beat and you're not guaranteed to get him >.< /sigh take 2

If I ever decided to get XIII-2, would I enjoy it as much as those who played and completed XIII? I couldn't get past the ninth chapter in the first game for reasons hundreds of people already cited. Let's just say that I tried hard to get attached but the feeling of doing a chore never left me while playing. I just want to play a modern console JRPG, for it's been a while. Plus, the positive feedback everyone posting here is encouraging. So does the "If you hated the first..." statement still applies?

Yes i hated the last game yet im addicted to this, and you wont miss any of the story as all of it is in the extras on the main menu

What paragrams and monster u use?

Supposedly if you finish a monster with your monster's feral link attack it increases the odds of capturing it.

If you ride one of the crazy looking chocobos in Bresha 300AF you get the crazy chocobo music..lol.

I am honestly loving this game so much right now...don't get the hate for it at all, even the story is great. Does anyo ne have a ny video footage of Omega in their team? Cause I've only seen footage of the battle itself. Do they shrink him down when he is in your team? I actually can't wait to get all the DLC for this game, crazy Colluseum battles etc. I'm hoping for more boss fights fro m previous Final Fantasys like Omega.
