CEX I'd say!! Obviously used but there stuff is usually good and comes with a warranty. Look what I got!! Brand new!

My PS3 can play PS1/2 games. So no need for one.

But for someone who wants a new PS2 then go for it. They still sale like crazy.

Seeing these makes me want to play FFXII again.

I think the bottom one may well be emulated but it looks really good, I liked the art direction, shame I didn't enjoy the game all those years ago. Might be different now.

Me neither! Picked it up off Amazon like I said. Works perfectly! Even had the proper wrapping on it, you can just make out the tiny Playstation 2 written in Silver on it.

I have the original case somewhere and bonus disc, my game disc got scratched to hell though, so I popped this disc in the original case and it's just like how it was

Well I've played FFX for 3 hours and it's such a blast from the past! As I've not played it in years I've forgotten quite a bit out of the game and that makes it even greater!

Hell no. I am happy with my BC ps3, but I still don't play the PS2 games. I am content with the re-releases with trophy support though.

dc I also had trouble with FFXII when I originally played it when it came out.

I got like 12 hours in and got stuck on some massive dinosaur boss hahaha. I just didnt find the game engaging, the story was all politicial and complicated... eh. I might give it another spin today, see how it goes :P

Now you know why many fans were upset about, FFXIII. It lacked the magic and fun that final fantasy games once had.

Once you guys are done playing those games, I strongly suggest the Shin Megami series. Especially, Persona 3 and 4.

Ofcourse I'd rebuy, I have started buying mainly PS2 games I missed to play on my PS3 these days, the PS2 is the last generation where a game had to BE good and not just involved a **** ton of bullets and grey/brown locations to sell millions

Funny enough, me and my brother were talking about getting a PS3 earlier today. i found the price on the EB Games website and it was only $90Aus. But i just wanna play San Andreas and Most Wanted on it since my Original XBox died from natural causes.
