Amazon.co.uk had Mario Kart at half price. £15. Deal has now expired but I am on the 'waiting list'. I hope I get one!

A 3DS has been obtained.

for 312.556 USD I got a black 3DS with Mario Land and, here comes the shock... MARIO KART 7!! Ha! Yeah I decided to get Mario Kart 7 instead of Zelda OoT just to see if the online was any good. It was an impulsive decision indeed, but the guy told me that nobody had any problems with the online. And I thought I had Zelda Skyward Sword untouched, so maybe I'd play that first.
As for the DS game of choice, the catch was that my choice would be among a really crappy collection. I seriously had a hard time choosing a game. My pick was based solely on the cover of the game and its back. The game is Contact. I'm actually now watching gameplay videos of said game. I could have got Luminous Arc 2 (the edition with the soundtrack) if I added 10$ to the sum. I've played and completed the first installment and it was amazing. So if I didn't like Contact videos I'm going to exchange it with LA2.

The 3DS is at home charging and updating. I will be posting my code soon! And PLEASE get Mario Kart guys so we can have a blast.

Week 51 sales in Japan was pure Nintendomination!

3DS sold 482,000 units compared to Vita's 72,000

Also 3DS had 3 titles in the top 20 and Vita had 0.

Just to put this into perspective the PSP sold around 100,000. Vita is off to a tricky start and 3DS has just got some solid titles out on the shelves now and a killer 2012 lined up.

I want to thank Azu for recommending me Mario Kart 7. Even though initially I thought I wouldn't enjoy it, now I cannot put it down. The single player is addictive and there's so much to unlock. The online is average; I've had couple of disconnects, but when the connection is good it's loads of fun.

I've been exploring the 3DS features and built-in games. The Mii Plaza and its games and the AR games (3D cards!) And I still haven't explored everything. I'm yet to check the Nintendo Zone, Download Play, Face Raiders, and best of all, my untouched Super Mario 3D Land!

The funny part is the play coins obtained by walking with the 3DS. There's a bus patrolling our huge parking lot in college to pick up students and drop them by the gate. I deliberately parked in the furthest place and didn't ride the bus just to get more coins! Haha.

I wish I'd get Streetpass hits though; nobody here cares much about the 3DS.

Yeah, I've not hit a street pass yet either. My kids took turns last nigh walking around to ear coins lol. I still have to get MK7 though - maybe today? Perhaps.

They will as of tonight, unless gamestop is out of them. I'm getting the pink one with the nintendogs bundled for $170. I have a credit there, so it should be about that after taxes. I'm unsure as to what I'll do with the two NDSI systems they won't be using any more. I would trade them in, but they don't give squat for them.

They don't give squat for my DS Lite either! But that's a nice price you got there for a bundle.

You should try to sell them on ebay. You can get decent money for them.

I'm quite the opposite! Earned three star gold trophies in all 100CC in all cups. And I didn't even open Mario 3D Land. Well I opened it to register the game in Nintendo Club, but that's it.
