I'd definitely get a matte black one over the red or blue. So far, I'm seriously loving this dang thing! I wish they'd polish the games off for the screen size though. Can definitely tell some jaggies more visible than in the normal sized 3ds. NSMB2 in 3d, is a blessing. I've read some reviews that didn't like it at all, but I think it's fantastic!! Even the "level select" portion of the game in 3d is gorgeous.

I've heard mixed reviews regarding the 3D for the game. And I've been meaning to check it out, but I hardly ever use the 3D and I keep forgetting lol. I think I'm gonna be getting the XL next weekend. Or rather, my wife lol. Still unsure if we're gonna get another copy of NSMB2. Anyone out there, is it worth it for the coop?

The 3d isn't like the 3d land game. It has some visuals, but they are still nice in my book. I haven't been able to play to co-op yet.

I got a new hard case for the 3DS, Sujiao from bigben. Now it feels safe throwing it in the backpack together with other stuff.

Inside it's made by some sort of soft cloth material and has place for an extra stylus and 3 games. Quite standard. I also have a cleaning cloth in.
The outside case is made by plastic and the black part is soft to touch plastic.

The 3DS fit with no problems. Easy to put in and take out. It felt a bit wobbly in the beginning. I suspect the case is made to be compatible with the dsi as well?
After I put the extra stylus and game the 3DS seems to sit in place much better.
