New Rumor
I am not bothered by the fact that I am unknown. I am bothered when I do not know others.

What u mean. If you use two of those for different games then its a good thing. The developers have the choice of choosing which controller is the best for the game. Also I think of controllers by their usefullness and not looks.

Well i agree with smily but they just don't look very comfortable but thats also what everybody said about the Ps3 controllers so you never know, this could actually be the controllers because i haven't seen the game system on the bottom anywhere before either?

But we dont know if they are going to be connectable to one another. Maybe there is a catch to it.

I believe there was a similar concept on this very forum , i think its in the PS3 controller section . Interesting this same concept is from IGN . Nintendo will most likely going for function over form . Example : Ferrari Enzo is an ugly car but it goes like the clappers and does what it does best and that is be a very good race car for the road . The same could apply to the PS3 controller , it looks uncomfortable but then again so did the Dual Shock 2 on the current Playstation 2 and it turned out to be one of the best controller designs ever . Lets reserve judgment till the final design is revealed in both Sony and Nintedo's case .
@Smily0012 . It probably works best when it seperate in FPS like one part of the controller in each hand represents a gun or something , like dual weilding guns and they work by tilting half the controller forward which inturn aims downwards and tilting it backwards makes one gun aim upwards . Or joining it together to play Racing games etc where the whole controller as a unit acts as a steering wheel when you turn it as you would a normal wheel on a car and all you need to do is apply throttle via triggers or shoulder buttons . Would make for interesting gaming experience i tell you if that was the case and i would surely call it revolutionary .

According to gamespot(don't have the link) this is fake. Supposedly if you know Japanese, you would easily be able to tell. I have no clue though, as I don't speak Japanese.

A controller like that would severely hamper my ability to play quickly. On a one piece controller, when I have to tap a button repeatedly I use my other hand to help stabalize the controller...but with a two piece controller this leverage and stability is gone.
A controller like this would open up all kinds of possibilities though, with sensors to tell if you're raising or lowering the handles, or bringing them close together or spreading them apart. Movement through games could literally be revolutionary. Then the PSP included a touchscreen. Then the PSP included more ram. Then the PSP finally ditched the crappy UMD format.
And then the PSP was perfect...

Important: PSU review style
Hi everyone,
I organised an ad hoc meeting earlier for those who were on MSN to discuss the review scoring style of PSU.
After much (!) debate we decided to go for:
1) Out of 10 score, in 0.5 intevals
2) Remove criteria and individual criteria scores, and replace it with an overall Pros and Cons list
3) A final verdict, where we recommend to the reader to "Buy it", "Rent it" or "Avoid it".
I think this is a very good set of things to do. If you have any issues/dislikes with the format, read the log of the conversation, as your issue/query will most likely have been raised and hashed out!

Read the entire thing and I agree with the resulting system. This way, we can incorporate all aspects of a game, like story for instance, without having to make a new section for it. If there isn't online in a game where there should be, that is a con; while say if there isn't online in a game like Oblivion, that isn't a pro or a con. You know what I mean?
Ok so this system will be implemented in PSU V2 correct?I think PS3 should have a built in memory card!!!

This should be for PSU v2...Eric's right, the current backend doesn't support the new rating system.
