I think these games were good but were highly controversial and banned in several places and developers should remake them for the PS3. But for the games that use live action stuff, not to remake it like that unless it works. And make them completly uncensored. Maybe these games would be great as FPS or Silent Hill/Resident Evil type games. And no more point and click games
1. Duke Nukem 3D (you all know why it was banned)
2. Havester (live action game banned for over the top realisitic looking violence also dubed most violent game ever)
3. The 11th Hour (adult themes, sexual references, violence, and horror)
4. Blood 1 and 2
5. Crusader: No Remorse (not really banned but controversial and a good game)
6. Kingpin: Life of Crime
7. Redneck Rampage (considered racial and adult theme comedy and violent)
8. Bio Freaks (controversial content)
9. Fear Effect 1 and 2 (for its sexual theme, remember the lesbian relationship in 2? Still a great game and gameplay.)
10. Nightmare Creatures (for its violence and disturbing images)
11. Parasite Eve 1 and 2 (for disturbing images)
12. Snatcher (from the Hideo, a violent game)
14. Thrill Kill (the #1 game that should be remade for PS3)

Most of those games wouldn't be banned if they were released today. Times have changed and so have the views on violent media (but games continue to push the bar). Thrill Kill was so incredibly violent (but with PS1 graphics). I still own that game, but if it was released on PS3, it might make Mortal Kombat look like the Powerpuff Girls and it would probably be banned again.“Letting go gives us freedom, and freedom is the only condition for happiness. If, in our heart, we still cling to anything - anger, anxiety, or possessions - we cannot be free.”
I know they wouldn't be banned in the US but countries like Austrilla yeah but im in the US so nothing is banned :P
Duke Nukem 3D was banned in some countries becuase of the sexual content and violence in it. it had strippers and girls topless.

I think it was the one for PC. They may have edited out the topless strippers for the N64 version. I don't remember because I haven't played it in years.“Letting go gives us freedom, and freedom is the only condition for happiness. the duke nukem for PC was sweet. the scene i remember for qhy it mgiht have been banned is if u type in the cheat DKmoney, if u pressed space bar money would fly out and there was a strip club there and....well....u know!
but it was a sweet game with amazing weapons.
alos, i didn't know bio freaks was banned, it was so unpopular it didn't even need banning becuase the 10 people who bought it were old enough

All of those games were rubbish, with possible of exception of Duke 3D, and the only one that isn't easily obtainable today is Thrill Kill....which is utterly abysmal. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say will be misquoted, then used against you.
I got thrill kill and i live in the UK! I didnt think it was as voilent as people make it out back then, although there are games that are more disturbing then thrill kill, rather much looking at manhunt. Im even suprised its still selling man hunt even after its ever so graphical ending!

We they had a duke nukem in the making for a while and it was supposed to compete with doom 3. They scrapped the whole project for some reason. I remember playing the orignal doom and duke nukem 3d. I would take duke over doom any day. I remeber in the strip clubs he would pull out money and be like "shake it baby", funny as hell. But im positive they started up the project for the pc again.

No, you cannot pre-order the game. If you see some online store saying "We are taking pre-orders", they're just trying to get your money (they usually also make up their own supposed "insider release date info", too). There is no release date set, we are not taking pre-orders for the game. End of story.
Once we begin taking pre-orders, believe us, you'll know about it.
The release date of this game is "When it's done". Anything else, and we mean anything else is someone's speculation. There is no date. We don't know any date. If you have a friend who claims they have "inside info", or there's some game news site, or some computer store at the mall who claims they know - they do not. They are making it up. There is no date. Period.
And yes, we know the game has taken a long time. There's no possible joke you could make about the game's development time that we haven't already heard.

Expect Duke Nukem to make a debut again. Easily one of the best FPS's of all time, encorporates violence, comedy, and a great FPS atmosphere all into one. You really can't beat it. I really would like to see a lot of those games brought back also, I feel it's rediculous that games are banned.
Politicians should concentrate their efforts on something a little more important like ACTUAL violence and POVERTY maybe. If I'm 18 I should be able to play and look at whatever I feel like. If mommy and daddy feel the need to buy one of those games for their child under the age of 18, then thats their choice and they have every right to do so. I feel this whole "war on violent games" is simply rediculous.Roach. > You - "There is a fine line between not listening and not caring... and I like to think I walk that line everyday of my life."

From what my research on some sites, Bio Freaks was banned in austrila. But I've played all these games and loved them and would be great as remakes.
Thrill Kill wasn't technically banned becuase EA bought the rights to the game and decided not to release it. It wouldn't have been banned at all except maybe a couple countries.
The only way you could get Thrill Kill is from pirated verisons.
And the kinky games you're talking about are porn games or manga games. I dont include those since to me they arnt real games but they have been made ever since NES such as The Rape Game, Custer's Revenge and so on
I would love to see another Duke Nukem game, i love that game, especially when i played the N64 one.
I remember me and my friend found lots of little bugs but they were really cool, like black duke nukem (and i mean black!) also white, there was a level where we managed to make weapons fall from the sky, lots of cool little things, and plus, it had one of the best weapons ever, trip bombs
Strange that you say duke nukem should be remade the most and you left it for last
I hope they bring him back, it was way better than DOOM for many reasons, but DOOMs theme still wins by farI have no signature.
No, really, i don't. You're just imagining this.

Yeah im with hunnter, they really should make another duke nukem, but im not sure about the whole doom thing seeing as i have yet to play it.
um.. well they were making Duke Nukem: Forever but someone from their company died or something and they stopped making it.. Atleast i think thats the reason...
Duke Nukem Forever is supposably still in production
I know is some area postal and postal 2 were banned. and only osme game stores sell that game. being able to play golf with someones head you knocked off seems a bit over the top, just a little.
Yeah I remeber some of those games I had. Too bad the christan and political society rejected them.I am not bothered by the fact that I am unknown. I am bothered when I do not know others.

Okey let me try to clear this up, most christans are not really into religion. But there are those that are hardcore believers thats the group im talking about. Im personally a Muslim but I gave up on religion along time ago. So even if people ask me about my religion I tell them I believe in god in my own unique way. Anyways there are also jew and muslims out there that dont like these games and are as well trying to ban them. But they dont have a big say since there arn't many of them living here in the USA. They are a smaller group. Okey so dont get offended. THe christan groups are just better known.I am not bothered by the fact that I am unknown. I am bothered when I do not know others.
