Blacksite, this is a thread for PC screenshots, we have a thread for photography right over....

i rarely mod my games. i know how, but i find it a hassle to do so. Oblivion is the only game i've modded proper (did my head in doing so)

PC probably does one up on consoles due to the quality of the light that can be produced. i think it was a crytek dev who said next gen will see much better lighting. implying that lighting now[for consoles] is not great.
PC's also got way more RAM to play with

I cant wait until more games use Tessellation.....i dont have any games that make good use of it accept maybe batman....so i got some Heaven Engine Tessellation shots instead.
Consoles should be compatible with DX11 next gen, it'll be a shame if they don't.

What game does Blacksite post pics of?

Modding depends on the modder some only supply a zip file you have to extract to to the right place others supply an exe that autodetects the correct place to install the mods, the exe type is rare though.

Cinematic mod is a decent mod of Half Life 2 and all its episodes its a total overhaul of textures, music, sounds and maps which adds up to over 20GB when fully extracted.

im too chicken shit to finish that game.
and as such, i've never seen that monster. at every bump or groan i turn and run.

something somewhat more brutal but in no way scary Sniper Elite V2, the demo, still undecided on whether to buy it or not.....

forced 4xMLAA, i think. AMD beta drivers are being a bit iffy. if not then maybe its just regular 4xMSAA
apparently this game is DX11....

Hitman Blood money: Looks pretty good for a 2006 game.

I remember acquiring it when it was new and my X850XT was crippled it barely got 20FPS, turns out it only affected ATI cards so for that reason I never bought it.

Looking at those screens makes me regret not buying Alan Wake when it was on sale.

I played on the lowest setting at 720p and my average framerate was 18fps

Played the entire game on hard at 18fps. So many deaths in the late part of the game

Black Mesa has been green lit. i'll download when valve host it (purely for convenience sake)
but those screens do look nice keefy, by comparison at least

F1 2012 Demo in DX11 (im not sure why? DX9 seems to be just as capable)
im reluctant to resize my pics....hopefully, spoiler tagging is enough
