I just thought I would ask based on what you've heard so far about the PSP2 would you purchase one.
Pretty simple question. ^_^

From what i have seen, i will be buying one.
Only thing that will stop be from buying the psp2 is the price, obviously.
Also knowing SONY, after 5 to 6 months a psp 2 light might be released, so i might save for that one.

I'll consider one for < $300. I won't stand in line outside a door for 2 days waiting, freezing my arse, getting rained on, using port-o-potty ... to do so that's for damn sure. All that said, they're talking 2011 Holiday time release, and my guess is it will only hit one major area. Any guess which one that would be? So, I'd have to say there's only a slim chance that it will make the US in 2011, gut say's Spring 2012 at the earliest. If that happens, I'll be waiting until 2012 Holiday before I even look at buying one. By then if they're not down to a $299 w/ WiFi only option, I'll probably have picked up a 3DS and my general rule is to purchase no more than one handheld game system every 3yrs (bought my PSP 1.5yrs ago.) So I'll most likely pick up an Android/Honecomb based Tablet for next Xmas, hold off for another year on the next handheld game system and decide during 2012 Holiday season which one to go with.

I'll for sure buy one if, and only if it is at or below $300. If they could get it down to $250 that would be fantastic, but with the tech involved I doubt $250. Would be nice though...and competitive. The software for it will truly be one of a kind, as no other portable system can produce the results this one can.

I've owned every single PlayStation and I've gotten hundreds of hours of entertainment out of all of them, so this is a no brainer. But no way day one or even year one, I've learnt from my PS3, so I'll be buying a slim version when they arrive, probably 2013/2014. Hopefully by then theres hundreds of games and an Elder Scrolls game.

I'll pay up to 400$, but not a cent more. I'm expecting 350$ anyways.
I'm really hyped for this system though. I've been waiting for portable gaming to get past it's puberty stage, and it seems to have finally happened.-No Feeble Cheering-

I voted "uh....hell no" :X because of the fact that every single time I buy a handheld device it starts collecting dust after a few months so it's basically a waste of money. If I want to game, I will do it at home on a big screen, I don't need to game outside of my house because I usually have things to do.

Without a doubt, unless it is something like $600+(doubtful).
I was planning on building a new PC and have just about enough saved up for one. I ended up decided against it though and preordered a 3DS. This leaves me with a decent amount of money left over, so I will probably set aside around $400 for the PSP2 and add a little ever so often.
