absolutely stunning and unbelievable how powerful this unit is. The 3d modeling takes it another notch up over consoles.

It looks a bit better than the Unreal App for the Iphone. It has AA and godrays, but I was expecting a bigger jump. Although, it is also running at a higher resolution.

Powerful tech, a lot more powerful than any other hand held device out there now, or that has been shown. I'm shocked at how strong it is for it's size. I think that will be it's selling feature, and I hope devs flock to it. If they can carry over a majority of the PS3's existing IP's, this will be fantastic. Wished they had shown more of the Killzone PSP2 project.

I think that was partly do to them trying to translate the console experience to the PSP; which was difficult, if not impossible in some cases, with the unit only having 1 analog stick.
I think we will see a much higher quality with first-party games on the PSP2 than what we did on the PSP. It may not be Naughty Dog, Guerrilla Games, etc. working on these titles, but that doesn't mean they won't be quality titles.

Just wanted to point out that the PSP2 doesn't need to be anywhere near as powerful as the PS3 to pump out these graphics due to it's resolution. The clarity of picture you are seeing is the result of having the right amount of power for the right amount of real estate. And by that, I do mean, a screen a good bit bigger than most mobile devices.
People have been worried about the battery life.. I'm not, though. This will be a hell of a good gaming device!Ladies and gentlemen, we have a worldwide launch on our hands!

It's a mobile gaming dream come true so far as I'm concerned. The tech is astounding.
The resolution is a bit under half that of 1280x720 or "true 720p HD", so considering the muscle of the hardware coupled with how little it has to actually render...

That's spectacular @_@. I love epic games, they're pretty good at making kick *** engines. I can't wait to see the spectacular games being made on PSP2. It's a must have. Seeing how everything runs on the Unreal Engine almost, this will make it easier for developers to also put games on PSP2. A mass effect spin off would be amazing.

I'm really really pumped up for this one. It's definitely the most powerful handheld piece of hardware around (including smartphones, etc..) and it's sticking to the hardcore audience, which I'm part of. Bring it on!
