New Black Ops patch will address leaderboard issues

The next Call of Duty: Black Ops patch will contain a fix for a score registering problem affecting players of the game's Zombies mode.


Players' high scores aren't being registered correctly on the leaderboards, a problem we've encountered on Xbox 360 since the release of the First Strike DLC pack earlier this month.

Treyarch community manager Josh Olin said on Twitter: "We're aware of this issue, only some are affected, and it will be resolved in the next patch... Which isn't too far off."

First Strike comprises of four new competitive multiplayer maps and a new Zombies one called Ascension, which features fresh achievements, weapons and perks.

The DLC's due to hit PS3 on March 3 and PC by the end of April.

I haven't even been on the new Zombie map but this is good news for those who play Zombie mode.

so they fix zombies but don't say anything about connection issues or the other issues that are in the larger part of the game, multiplayer, interesting. Not hateing, just sayn. I have the game and play it, but its starting to wear thin

This, after playing CoD almost nonstop for coming up on 4 years I've pretty much given up. Blops could have been the best COd to date, but it's been running like garbage for FAR to long. They really need to get their priorities straight, and at the very least admit that they royally screwed up and are working on it.

Sorry, but this should have been lower down the list than some other issues within the game. I know it's important to have leaderboards, but the game as it is has far more issues that need correcting than a leaderboard.,

Who cares about leaderbords when you don't play the damn game anymore because off other issues. Activision en Treyarch are a joke when it come's to developing.
