My dilemma is: should I spend a $1,000 on a new PC or should I get an inferior version for my PS3????

Tough choice.. I know what I'm doing.

I'm upgrading my video card on my PC, prob cost me about £200-£250 depending on prices of cards that run BF3 at highest setting.

I think I'm doing the same, but I want to fully upgrade my PC if BF3 is gonna be played on it. So, it's a 1,000$ for me.

Looks great, 1942 is still my Favorite, but BF2 was good as well, so was Bad Company

BF1942 was great, BF2 was simply huge and amazing. I spent hours on Karkand, love that map.

Cod has just become a sad part of my gaming life. I used really love playing it but i have just gotten tired of that same thing over and over it's not evolving like this game. Cod was what i played most the time but the lagg and bad choices like not making a new engine which i think is only way i would play another Cod. They need to get a new formula because they have had the same one forever. Battlefield three is the game I most look forward to. Cod is just a bland paste fed to gamers who don't know any better.Running in circles shooting each other in a battle of who has a faster connection.FREE YOUR MIND MAN buy battlefield 3!

If the melee system is stupid quick time events like that right there in multiplayer it comfirms my fears. Do not want.

We don't know about MP yet, but even being that way it's a shooter. Melee isn't a big deal to me when it comes to FPS games. It adds to the whole experience, but it isn't defining.

Kind of disappointing to hear that the ps3 version will be 12v12 - That won't do the BF experience justice. Sadly like many others I can't afford a top notch PC and actually bought a PS3 so I could play games like this. Do you think it is set in stone that it will be 12 v 12? 18 v 18 would be acceptable, imo.

I would be disappointed in them in they had a melee system like that. That looked like it was all one block scripted event (including the bomb diffusion), so I don't think that was the melee system. Unless PC QTE's don't have keyboard button prompts I think that was basically a first person mini cinematic, no player control.

As soon i get some good cash, i'm going straight to gamesto. This is game is going to be Epic, stil wish they would show some game play for the consoles.
