There's still two more DLCs coming this year, so no biggie

and I'm hoping this rumored new game Battlefield Evolved it's a DLC packed BF3, they don't need to release a new game this year.

DICE will release a BF3 patch today aimed at fixing a weapon animation bug. Anyone heard or encountered this bug before.

Those who have already purchased the expansion pack will have the option to re-download it free of charge, although the developer said changes to its back end will make it a mandatory requirement "in the near future".
DICE has promised to deliver fresh experiences in each of three recently announced Battlefield 3 add-on packs.
Titled Close Quarters, Armored Kill and End Game, they're due for release this June, in the autumn and in the winter respectively. Full details on the first two through here (information about the third one's apparently top secret).

I just had to kill a support guy so that I take his equipment, throw down ammo, take my equipment back and then revive him.

I shouldn't have to go through this much trouble to get ammo. I shouted at him for ammo like 5 times.

I feel your pain. There have been times who. I'm on a roll, get close to running out of ammo, and chase them around the map shouting at them (hitting select) to drop some fn ammo. They never do. Very frustrating.

Having played over 200 hours of this game, I can totally get why some people don't get into it.

It's a game that's sorta like GTA, where you gotta come up with shit to do to keep things fun. If you just wanna win, it's not that fun and gets old quick. Since there's not that much strategy involved (being a respawn game)...so I totally get it. Just curious, is GTA not your cup of tea as well?

I only like it because you can free- rome and kill people in GTA, but again, after an hour or two of that, it gets boring.

True...but then you can try and be a chopper gunner, which is loads of fun...or you could be that annoying mortar guy (which is insanely fun in hardcore because it's generally a 1 hit kill). You could become a recon and practically win matches for your team with the MAV (if you spot people, your team will see them on their screen clearly and will make it too easy for them to win, especially when the other team is camping). You can be that suicide bomber who drives their suv into the enemy tanks or infantry. Or you can get insane amount of kills with the claymores if you know where to put 'em.

Yea, you gotta find things to do to have fun but it's like GTA, if you can't think of anything, it'll get boring soon.

Did you already get to the max level or open up new guns?

Keep in mind, if you're one of those people that like to strafe, go with these weapons: Assault = L85a2, F2000. Engineer: A91 and all the support SMGs like P90, UMP45, P2000, M7. Other weapons don't let you strafe as fast.

I cant fly a copter or plain. All i do is run around with a sniper and try to get as much kills as possible. Its not only the game thats boring, its me

I couldn't either until I did some practice and change the control scheme around a bit. See what fits better for you.

Also, to be a chopper gunner, you don't need to fly, you just need a good co-pilot

But for sure you're going to get bored with one class...I try to play with all classes.

Seriously though, if you're a sniper, you shouldn't be playing in normal servers. Hardcore is much better for snipers.

1) Enemy won't see where the shot came from cause there's no kill cam (unless they just joined the room, which is a glitch and it goes away after one round).

2) Enemies take less hits, bolt snipers generally kill people with one shot. Other snipers take somewhere from 1-3 hits.

No one can spot you...there's no red dot on your head...they won't see where you came from. It's loads of fun in hardcore mode. I say try it, you're already bored, what do you have to lose? Try to play bigger maps first or you might get annoyed of all the explosives.
