I left my patch downloading and updating before going to college, came back right now trying to download and piece of shit it's not even available to download even though they posted on their official facebook that the DLC was live.

It is live, just not for everyone.

It's not because of DICE though, Sony needs to update their stores around the world for the content to appear. Some people got lucky as the store in their region was already updated earlier today.

Man I swear it get me pissed the way the advertise stuff, they posted on both fb and twitter Armored Kill is live, I just wish they were more specific and say it will go live as soon as the store is updated. They say it's live so it makes me think it's available through the in-game store.

Sounds like a right pain in the arse playing on PS3, do Xboxers get this problem too?

IT really doesnt inspire me to buy a game on PS3 plus its DLC if they (SOny) cannot get the release dates correct.

No this doesn't happen on Xbox, generally on Xbox it releases the same time world wide as far as I'm aware.

I can confirm Armored Kill is truly live now (North America), went live 1 hour ago! So you should be able to download it now.

The new maps are really nice imo. They're huge but still have tons of action going on. The AC-130 is really powerful on rush but pretty weak on conquest. Overall awesome expansion.

Is it me or is the gunship in Rush a royal pain in the ass? It completely dominates the battlefield and literally forces you to take a stinger with you.

I haven't tried all maps, I'm yet to try Death Valley and haven't gave the Gunship a try either.
Imo this is the best DLC so far, really enjoying everything on it, some may not like the fact that the maps are super big and it does take you a while to get from one point to another on foot but this maps are actually much better for sniping.

Haven't tried Rush yet, does anyone know if the AC-130 is given to the defenders, attackers or whatnot? It'd be great if it always belonged to the defending side as most people can't defend for shit and need more help (brain cells)

That's the thing. For some reason it's only the attackers that get the gunship. Defenders have no chance whatsoever if they don't bring along stingers and actively hunt it down with jets.

The gun ship is much better balanced on conquest. Whoever captures the C flag gets to control and spawn in the gun ship.

It's lots of fun, and kinda makes you think a bit more before you make a move. At least it does to me.

Armor kill maps are awesome! I would even say best BF maps ever, they're big, more vehicles, most maps have a main battle area with 3 flags being pretty close to each other, then a couple of flags being further away with one of the flags when captured allows your team to spawn a dropship.

They also look great! And the new tank superiority mode is great fun, I like the big rush to the objective at the start, then after that going around the map doing battles with tanks and then stealthy retreating to fight another day. Kinda feels like I'm a real tank commander, going round the battlefield owning up another whole tank platoon. You just got too keep an eye out for sneaky soldiers trying to lay C4 on you.

Best map I find is Bandar Desert, it has a great mix of vehicle warfare and soldiers vs soldier as the map is really well designed

I just dont find fun in BF3 anymore, so much auto lock on weapons, ruins the experience in using vehicles...

God i wish BFBC 1 was still active.

Just bought the game again. Got the re-released "Premium" edition that gave all the DLC. Gonna try it out in a few. Add ya boy if you wanna get some games in.
