Obama isn't as bad as some people make him out to be
he's done nothing wrong. he stalled bush's negative growth. unemployment in his term has gone down from when he took office etc etc. the only thing you're feeling is the fact that he only managed to stall growth. inflation does not wait for you.

the american political system contributes more to what you've said than a single man at the top. its probably the reason obama has only managed to stall growth tbh

I think he did a pretty good job because he was basically handed a failing economy and the middle east mess and congress pretty much said from day 1 their main goal was to defeat him. I just think that was a fucked up thing to say.

This is correct because its congress that runs the country the president is just someone to point fingers at. Its like when your boss tells you the business has to be shutdown its not his/her decision its the people above. If Romney would have won Dems in congress would work against him just like Republicans have become the party of "no". Nothing will get done if congress doesnt pass anything people should be disgusted with congress. Im very happy that President Obama will continue to be our president but congress at least the republican side has to change. Dems won in 2008 its no fluke Dems win in 2012 they have to work with the democratic party. If youre willing to vote for a party that refuses to make any compromises or challenge members of thier own party on sensative issues just because the president is not of that particular party then youre a fool. To me it says that you would rather have this nation and its people suffer for 4 years because they are divided throughout a presidental term, and as a result not getting anything done. You then count on people not to notice these things we spent 4 years fighting over who should control this country and its only gotten marginally better. So here we are 2012 we get another 4 years are we done playing games in congress about whos in charge or do we get another 4 yrs? 2016 I expect to see another democratic presidental canidate white female or hispanic Male if that happens republicans are gonna have a hard time. A white female would be a tough battle but if you put a successful (non mexican) latino male and he busts out his sob story about the american dream and all his struggling to make it the top backed by Obama. Obama is gonna do more in the hispanic community and in the african american community so when he does endorse at hispanic its gonna be a deadly combo for republicans. This county is a melting pot and the only way to win is to be diverse more politically correct in tune with the times. The republican party has to change they have to be a diverse party but its too late we have that party its the Democrats.

Sorry for the wall of text but republicans lost because they chose to play favorites. Its time for republicans to get with the times if not fuck em.

Actually I meant you. I'm perfectly comfortable here in my country...and I've been around the world enough to know just how good we have it here.

And yes he hasn't made much ground in the first four years, maybe now that the repugs see he's still president they'll be a little more willing to actually work *with* him rather than making sure to try and roadblock any/everything he does. But on the bright side we don't have a flip-flopping magic underwear bearing chicken hawk in office

You really need to understand what socialism is. Obama is a centre right politician. Just compared to the pretty far right of the current republican party he seems pretty left

Definitely helped with how the rest of the world views us.
Took banks out of our federal student loan programs...
Helped rid the world of 1400 or so nuclear weapons.

Our military power has been decreasing every since we started fanning out military out across the planet into every country we can think of. History shows that ever since ww2 the goal of the military was to shirk the loss of life on the battlefield on both sides and that our strength was in our technology and faith in our allies. It seems that Americans have just become bullet sponges for other nations around the world to use at thier own will because they are to lazy to fight their own wars. Even in the debate Biden asked Ryan why would you want to send Americans into the most dangerous terriroty in Afghanistan/Iraq why not send their own people. Ryan pretty much had no comment and just went on about how a timeline for an exit plan was bad because America would lose whatever efforts they had in rebuilding someone elses country. So instead of fixing the problems we have here at home just throw bodies overseas just to save face.
