Yea, but that was back in the 80s I think. We didn't invade Iraq because of WMD's. Of course that is one of the lies they used to justify it. None were found and there was no link to them and 9-11. There was no need to invade. Just my opinion of course. But the part about WMDs is a fact.
Correct but that still justify invading a country based on lies.It is difficult to hold any one nation responsible for this kind of terrorist activity, but a large chunk of the blame is with the Saudi's. Obviously, much of it is our own fault because what we have done in the past routinely bites us in the ass. Like our covert operations in Afghanistan against the Soviets. Being buddy buddy with Hussein in order for him to take care of Iran for us. and so on.

I don't agree with the assertion that we should have invaded Iraq. We should have stayed out of it, if for no other reason he was a stabilizing force in the region.

Ok so scratch that was not Obama, information getting mixed up.Christie had been criticized for ordering flags at state government buildings to be lowered on Saturday, the day that Houston’s funeral services would be held in Newark.

In 2008 the economy collapsed and took over 3 million manufacturing jobs with it. One of the hard hit industries was auto manufacturing. Now that the economy isn't going the wrong direction, car sales have been ticking up and as such the auto industry has added jobs BACK to the workforce.
On top of that, China is becoming less and less competitive and companies are finding that it's making more sense to move manufacturing back to the US for goods that are being sold in North America.
You can say that Obama's economic policies are the reason the economy is recovering, his being mostly the same as the president before him so I guess that guy shares the credit. But, his economic policies have nothing to do with what's going on in China which has caused manufacturing jobs to leave that country and head back to the US.
So, which of Obama's policies are driving the increase in US manufacturing and why?

Edit: Again, if we are going to credit someone for this, be it Obama or ANYONE, let's be honest with ourselves and identify the exact policies that have been the driving factor of the increase in manufacturing jobs in the US. Of course, a slight return/recovery of the economy has been part of what's driving this, but a driver that's potentially having more impact than the economy is what's going on in China. So, how do US politicians get credit for what's happening in China?Last edited by weskurtz81; 02-13-2013 at 15:21.
