I am stunned that some people appear to love their Playstation(1,2,3) or Xbox(360) more than I love the Denver Broncos.
Trust me, it's sad

Well, I've been reading up on Ron Paul lately and he seems like our best bet for America right now. I've lost faith in Obama and don't really care much for the other Republican party candidates (apart from Ron Paul). Don't even get me started on Rick Perry; the guy is a fucking moron.

The republican party is still in disarray. They still can't seem to get behind one candidate. They still think that a bad economy will get them elected and that will be their mistake. Some of them can't seem to stop saying stupid shit about minorities....then again they won't get that vote anyway and they know it. That's why they go to that extreme route.

yea..Its gonna be good. Its funny because all the shit the tea party has done has backfired on them. They don't approve of Willard and now they are trying to convince voters that he isn't a real conservative. Not surprised he is polling strong down there. They seem to lean wherever their anti-obama governor tells them too.

I wish this race was over and done with. Its the same shit every three years and nothing really changes with the exceptions of thousands of new laws going into effect and our liberties going out the window. On December 31st Obama signed the National Defense Authorization Act after he vowed not to pass it.

Romney has the nomination in the bag. He will kill in New Hampshire, and and Carolina. When gets those, it'll snowball. Santorum pulled off a miracle in Iowa. Only reason he won, is because of the strong evangelical vote in the state and over a couple weeks, visited every county....every single one. Paul won't fair as well in others. Difference is, most states that have primaries also have people register under a certain party. Paul got young people votes, not republican votes, so his support is going to be young people registered as republicans, they do exist obviously, but not as strong support.
LOL F3AR at Mittens.

Yeah, Romney just won the New Hampshire primary. Ron Paul came in second though and Jon Hunstman finished third.

see, I don't agree that we need to spend more, if that was the case then Bush shouldn't have been able to create a more worse debt but he did and Obamas stimulus should have actually worked but it made it worse. spending is actually wrong because so far that is all that has been going on is spending more and more.
It let me in the link the first time but when I tried to back into that link you posted, it wouldn't work anymore o.O

Awfully Keynsian don't you think? So all that stimulus was supposed to get us out of the ditch, but as far as I can see we're still digging and the ditch is getting bigger. Only thing more spending is going to accomplish is create shitpots of debt. I kinda agree that the debt issue has been blown out of porportion, but it is far from innocuous like he seems to imply. The economic collapse was manufactured by the Fed. They expanded credit with historic low interest rates beyond that of actual loanable funds, but the people doing the loaning confuse this expansion of credit with real lonable funds and inflation picks up the slack. The bubble busts when the mal-investments reveals there are too few resources to complete projects and waste occurs accruing a permanent loss of potential in the economy, and the interest rates rise. Only thing more spending is going to do, is grow the bubble bigger just making the inevitable collapse more destructive.

Krugman is a huge proponent of Keynesian economics yes, but that's not really what I was focusing on (or agree with). What I agree with him on is the debt issue- we owe most of it to ourselves and if you look back at history we've been in similar situations (or worse) before.
It'd be different if our debt was owed, largely, to foreign nations.. But it's not. It's internalized.
Ron Paul has been saying this exact same thing.
I think our political elite are wholly incompetent. Whether we get Romney or Obama, we're just electing another stooge dingbat who will promise us the world but ultimately deliver nothing but the status quo.

This will be a complete 180 on the topic, but apparently Romney is half Mexican...

Sounds like Rick Perry dropped out of the race. Good news, right?
He's supporting Newt Gingrich though.Steam & PlayStation Network: BlacksitePSU | 3DS Friend Code: 1349-4916-2054

I still prefer Obama over all of the GOP alternatives. Chances are, though, that there are a plethora of better independent candidates than the the incumbent president and the GOP candidates we have to choose from.

I don't know, not sure what Obama can/does do better than really any of the GOP candidates TBH. Other than Paul, and there are a number of things I don't agree with Ron Paul on, but other than him I don't think any of them are leaps and bounds better than Obama, but I don't think any are worse.
For instance, I don't think any of them would have struck down the Keystone Pipeline... Obama just pandered to environmentalists and killed it. They aren't just going to not do anything with the oil, we need it, we could use the jobs, and we have pipelines running all over this country, a few more wouldn't hurt anything. I could go on about things I don't like about him, but no point really. Bottom line, I don't think we are any worse off with him out of the White House, and likely might be a little better off."you are both the product and the architect of your environment"

After Bush's last term one thing I started looking for when choosing a candidate to support in times of war, is which candidate has the most US active military personal support behind them. After all they are the ones out there fighting these wars and have a better understanding of whats going on. There are many polls, charts indicating their support towards Ron Paul is greater than all of the rest of GOP candidates PUT TOGETHER.
In these 2012 elections our only alternative is Ron Paul.
