he is just playing politics. You think he wants to address any real issues or stir up an controversy in a re-election year? nope, he is just putting shit on the back burner until its more politically acceptable for him to address them, so basically after his re-election he will get back to work. Its disgusting. He's putting his re-election above the duty of the office.

Man, have you guys been keeping up with the big stink surrounding the New Black Panther movement intimidation case?
Happened a bit back, but basically these thugs intimidated people at the polls. Screaming at them and holding baseball bats, targeted apparently mostly whites.
Charges were brought up against them and summarily dropped by the Justice Department. Several prominent officials in the Justice Department resigned over this and stated that the current administration enforces a bigoted policy towards minorities.
Our good friend Holder assures us this is not the case and that they're 'looking into it' (guy's a dirtbag anyway. Fast and Furious anyone?).
Considering who Obama rubs elbows with (Jeremiah Wright, for instance) I'm not entirely surprised.

In case anyone is living under a rock...
Read more: SourceRICK SANTORUM HAS SUSPENDED HIS CAMPAIGN:
Rick Santorum will drop out of the GOP race today at Gettysburg.
After several initially conflicting reports, Fox News confirmed it.
Santorum suspended his campaign after a raucous primary season in which he came from nowhere to beat Romney (barely) in the Iowa caucuses.
(READ: It's Not Over Yet, Ron Paul Vows To Stay In The Race Till THE END>>>>>)
At his speech, Santorum first relayed news that his daughter Bella was doing better after falling gravely ill over the Easter weekend.
"This was a time for prayer and thought," Santorum said, "just as it was when we decided to get into this race. ... We were winning in a different way. We were touching people, raising issues that people didn't want to have raised."
Santorum recalled some of the touchstones of his campaign including his infamous sweater-vest. He gave shout-outs to the disabled and the ill who came to his rallies and supported him. "We did focus on the dignity of life," he said, "we talked about how we're going to build a great country from the bottom up."
Despite Newt Gingrich's win in South Carolina, Santorum became the "anti-Romney" in the race, an alternative candidate for conservatives who could not abide the front-runner.
Really, Santorum played the game way above his head for much longer than anyone expected. He had little money, except for that which was given to the SuperPAC allied with his campaign by Foster Friess.
Santorum won 11 state contests: Alabama, Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, North Dakota, Oklahoma, and Tennessee, but his momentum faded after he failed to win key states like Ohio on Super Tuesday, or Michigan. His sinking poll numbers, and low cash-on hand seemed to spell doom for him in his home state of Pennsylvania which will hold its primary on May 24.
Santorum did not mention Mitt Romney, or use the opportunity of this speech to endorse him.
According to Yahoo! News, Santorum called Romney to concede the race before his speech.
All the last doubters should know now that it is over: Romney will be the nominee.
Thank. God.

santorum won't be back. I got an email update from his campaign and "suspend" is the polite word for "i'm blowin this popsicle stand" The email made it seem pretty definitive. Newt will jsut bloviate some more and paul will stick it out to continue spreading his message. Romeny has it, but i imagine paul wil get a nice speech at the convention, which i expect to be epic.

Power gang....lol
Til the end of what? The convention I presume. He will never be president. He is only doing this for his son's future in politics.Ron Paul will be there til the end. You're S.O.L. on that front.
Santorum will most likely run again in the future. Did people really think that he would beat Romney? Money talks in politics. It will be funny to see how all the republicans rally around Romney now. Now they have no choice but to settle.Santorum won't be back. You forgot to include the [insert color] bit.
That's a bunch of crap. He's doing it to spread a message and to win. Not for his son really though his son stands to benefit from his work.Til the end of what? The convention I presume. He will never be president. He is only doing this for his son's future in politics.
Dare I presume you were a Santorum fan? Wait, not fan. How about follower? By the way Romney is in for a big surprise come time for the convention. Ron Paul has a lot more delegates than what is being reported. Those not in Paul's camp are in for a rude awakening.Santorum will most likely run again in the future. I hope you're right man cause the MSM have done a great job of downplaying his delegate count and keeping him out of the news cycle. The Federal Government is out of control and people need to realize that we can't afford them and their agendas anymore, this should be clear to all of us Americans.
Im glad to see our military men and woman along with college students support and rally behind him.

lol...Doing it to win what? Paul never stood a chance. He doesn't have the support of the party nor the finances. Why are people acting like money doesn't matter now.
Rude awakening for what? Romney is pretty much the nominee now. Just like I said from the very beginning. Romney and Perry had the most money to throw around so its no surprise that one of the two would come out on top. Paul will never be president.Dare I presume you were a Santorum fan? Wait, not fan. ...so one of you explain to me where RPs secret delegate count is coming from... otherwise you seem kinda... desperate, naive...

For the record, no sane person could support any of these "candidates." Ron Paul is obviously the most "ideal," easily the most "trendy," but he is not without fault. People play it like he is. Anyone who has followed this cat knows he has said, and stands for, some crazy shit. He's no more ideal than any other present candidate. Especially from the 'pub party. He talks up his base, like that hasn't been done before. Like he hasn't made contradictory statements. Please. He is easily the "trendy" candidate. He has no chance, either. Don't mean to spoil it for you folks, but he doesn't. Sadly, Willard is your rep. Deal with it.
Obama will win. It's a given.
Hillary Clinton for 2016.

Yep, I would say the republican party has some issues and they lack a real leader right now. What I find strange is that they have people way better than Romney and Santorum but they didn't want to run. I can understand why Jeb Bush didn't run. No way in hell the country is ready for another Bush rigth now. But what about all the others out there?

Jeb Bush?

Better candidates?
They paraded out their best. Only thing I can think is the general public is actually waking up. Some sad candidates we have seen, and if they haven't paraded out their best then I really want to see the others. Such a sad offering this year. Hillary will run next year and she better have some stiff comp. No pun intended.
Hmm....maybe Christie? We do love our fat people ... but, seriously, all jokes aside ... we do love our fat people.
