You are quite narrow minded if you think the best candidates the republicans had, showed up for the primary.
And there is still a lot that can occur between now and November that can sink obama.
Also Hillary is done with politics, if you can't see that, then one has to question how much attention you have actually paid to politics in the US. It is also shows your ignorance about presidential history.

Presidential history? In what sense?
Apart from the tongue in cheek comment about the best, some of these fools were thought to be a legitimate threat to unseat Obama. Some obviously more than others.
And I'm aware that she has maintained she won't run, has said she will get out, but this wouldn't be the first time that someone has suggested as much only to find themselves "coming back." The only thing to "see" is what she has said. A lot can change in 4 years, and if you don't get that than maybe you haven't paid enough attention to politics past. Why are we acting like it's a given?

3+ terms with presidents from the same party.
She knows the situation is pretty band and doesn't want to get sucked down by it. She's smart and knows when to get out.
If anything she will probably start to work on Chelsea getting her ready for politics perhaps in the next 10-15 years.

You got it all wrong dude. She can't run for office again if she is still serving as Secretary of State. Besides, she said back in when she was appointed that she would only do one term in that position. If she ran in 2016 there isn't one republican out there who would defeat her. And what situation are you talking about? All signs are pointing to Obama winning this election so far. Romney has got some issues. He still hasn't been endorsed by many people in the party. Sooner or later they all will have to settle for him.

You're thinking too narrowly. The "Situation" I refer to is the state of the USA/federal government as a whole. We are heading downhill. The underlying reasons for the 2008 recession were not properly addressed. We are continuing down the path to bankruptcy. The executive branch, legislative branch and even parts of the judicial branch are corrupted and controlled by lobbyists/special interest groups working on behalf of large corporations and various wealthy individuals. At the same time the scope of the federal (and state governments in certain cases) is expanding and is continually leading to the erosion/undermining of our liberties and freedoms found in the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. At the same time the political sphere has become increasingly partisan over the past 30-40 years. While the two main parties disagree over certain issues (and continue to focus on the irrelevant ones, which continues to polarize and split the citizenry in certain ways) they are both pushing the country in the same direction and continue to expand the size of the federal govt.
All is this is occurring while the public is hopelessly ignorant for the most part, (some part of the public is actively working to achieve the aforementioned outcome) for whatever reason and won't act or do anything at all as a whole until it is too late.
Who the hell in their right mind would want to become president of that? (apparently all the decent republicans who elected not to run for president in 2012)
-

Lol... Really... The only reason all the "so called" decent republicans didn't run is because they don't have a message and have nothing to run on besides being critical of Obama. Besides, if he was as bad as they make him out to be, wouldn't that make their case even stronger?

really? If that's even true(which i don't think it is) they will most likely look at the alternative and stay with Obama. We all know Richie Rich Romney isn't even a real conservative but the right is so desperate that they will go for anyone over Obama. Its really pitiful.

So called? As if the Democrats have a monopoly on good candidates? There are plenty of good options on the other side of the isle. And, quite frankly, there is plenty to run on when it comes to Obama, plenty. And, if things keep going like they are, the economy will continue to be stagnant or worsen for the rest of the year. There is SOOO much ammo that can be used against the guy it isn't even funny, the problem is I don't think any of these guys are as good of a politician as Obama and they already have stuff that can be used against them.
Personally, I don't want Obama-lite to get elected (Romney), but he's probably a better alternative than Obama IMO."you are both the product and the architect of your environment"

Its quite simple really. You just have to determine if the current guy is worthy of a second go. For many the answer isn't concrete. Therefore it makes sense to try somebody else and see what the results are.
Better than just sticking with the same guys for 2 terms, just because.
And its funny you talk about mit is such a negative light. He's a lot better than Kerry, and look how close the 04 election was.
-

For many on the right maybe. That is understandable because they never wanted him to win in the first place.
really? come on now. Just because? And Romney will be better? ROFLBetter than just sticking with the same guys for 2 terms, just because.
better at what? I wasn't a fan of kerry but we know where Kerry stood on issues and he is a true liberal. Can you say that about Romney? Kerry is a much better campaigner than Romney will ever be. Romney hasn't proven anything except that he can outspend the other righty candidates. His money is the only reason he is the front runner. And its funny you talk about mit is such a negative light. LOL, the funny thing is you don't even WANT to get into the actual points, you just make drive by comments like that and avoid the debate! It's probably for the best though...
Actually, no need to speculate, it's pretty easy to tell what he's up to based on where he stands and the statements he has made over the years..."you are both the product and the architect of your environment"

You are out of touch if you don't think there is a significant amount of democrats fed up with obama. (for various reasons)
Do you have solid evidence that Romney will not be able to anything better than obama? Didn't think so.
Romney is a better candidate than Kerry, overall.
The thing about Romney is that while he may not have many solid beliefs/views, be can be swayed by the party/electorate.
And if what you said is so true, why did Santorum do so well with the pitiful amount of money he spent. Surely his campaigning skills are not superior to Romney's.
And Romney did also take out Perry, who had the support of many in the party. It's not so much the money, but the lack of good candidates.

Kerry already proved you can't win by being the other guy.
So did Bob Dole.
And you can't win if you lose the women vote by 20 points... (Mittens current standing)

lol...he did so well because some people know he is a real conservative. Face it, the right has some serious issues. Not to mention the huge gender gap. Who is gonna be his running mate? How is he gonna get the female or the minority vote? Saying he was born in Mexico isn't gonna cut it. The guy is out of touch with the middle class. He can't relate to them because he never could. The guy has some serious weaknesses. Its gonna be hilarious to see Newt and Santorum support him after all the reasons they gave why he is the wrong guy to go against Obama.

I should also point out that just b/c some voters are disenchanted with Obama. That in no way means they will support Romney. And Vice versa.
