We have an Eagle Eye Converter (MSRP: $59.99 USD) to give away to one dedicated North American user.

Want it? Simply have the most posts in this thread when it closes on Tuesday -- no double posting and keep it clean. After the contest concludes, the winning user will be contacted via the email he or she used to register for PSU.com. Good luck!

    Description:
The Eagle Eye Converter, from Penguin United, is the next evolution of control and accuracy in console gaming as it allows gamers to use a keyboard and mouse to play on their PS3 instead of a traditional gamepad controller. This revolutionary product is bringing about the convergence of PC and console gaming to answer the age old question of who would own who – PC gamers vs. Console gamers.

The converter is simple to set-up (plug and play) and includes easy-to-use PC software that allows gamers to customize their keys by mapping out buttons and programming macro functions to turn any key into a combo of moves. Fragging the competition has never been easier with the Eagle Eye Converter!

    Features:

Converts a USB HID 2.0 keyboard and mouse into a PS3 controller
Compatible with all PS3 console versions and all PS3 titles
High capacity CPU delivers a 1 to 1 translation from the PS3 right analog stick to the mouse movement for ultra precision aiming
Included PC software allows customization of all PS3 controller buttons to your keyboard & mouse
Highest possible refresh rate results in a fluid, delay free mouse movement
Store up to 2 key mapping schemes
Quick & easy setup gets you started within minutes
13ft. long USB cable for a flexible setup

    1 year warranty

And the current leader is... somebody who cannot win the Eagle Eye. How ironic. I will promote this on the main page so it gets more attention.

Gopher, you clearly did not read the rules. There is no double posting allowed. You must wait for somebody else to post before you are allowed to make another post. That's part of the fun of the competition -- otherwise people would just continually spam this thread, like you have been doing. I'll let you off easy this time; I am going to delete your posts and let you try to participate again. If you break the rules again, you will not be considered to win the Eagle Eye.

No, that is valid because it is not a double post.

    What defines double posting????????????
Quote Originally Posted by Eric View Post

Editor (Eric): Double posting is the following.

    Double posting

One common faux pas on Internet forums is to post the same message twice. Users sometimes post versions of a message that are only slightly different, especially in forums where they are not allowed to edit their earlier posts. Multiple posting instead of editing prior posts can artificially inflate a user's post count. Multiple posting can be unintentional; a user's browser might display an error message even though the post has been transmitted or a user of a slow forum might become impatient and repeatedly hit the submit button. Multiple posting can also be used as a method of trolling or spreading forum spam. A user may also send the same post to several forums, which is termed crossposting. The term derives from Usenet, where crossposting was an accepted practice but causes problems in web forums, which lack the ability to link such posts so replies in one forum are not visible to people reading the post in other forums.

Wow, I understood that less than what you said before. And I am in my next to last year in a doctoral program. Good thing my program has nothing to do with internet stuff.
Fenix, I do not have 6564 post like you. I am 30 and we had Apple 2e's in my highschool. Sorry, I only opened a Facebook account 2 months ago (because my family keep telling me to). Next time I will ask you a question about Airplanes and see if you know the answer. If it makes you feel any better about your self, I also did not know what "trolling" meant. I am sure you did. Fenix, since you seem like you want to make me smarter....Does the XD after your post mean something? Also, I only found out that JK means "Just Kidding" about 5 months ago. But I have known what LOL meant for about 4-5 years.

Editor (Eric): Here is the definition of an internet troll. Guys, be kind, clearly he's just getting to grips with the web and its slang.

Oh, and XD is a kind of "smiley," like might be. See the expression in the characters? Look at it sideways.

Not double posting...not trolling...just getting my name in the hopper for a cool addition to my PS3 toys.
