caught the premier last night.

While the episode started slow, after the first 30 mins, it started to pick up. Looks like it will be a great show.

Looks like Stark's daughter has the hots for the Lanister kid, Was the older Lanister prince ****ing his sister at the end, before Bran gets pushed out the window?

Jaime Lannister isn't a prince, he's a member of the Kingsguard whose job is to protect the King, and he was indeed doing his twin sister, which they've been doing it together for a long time

Watched it before I went to bed last night, thought it was pretty good. A few things bugged me, there was so many characters introduced in the first episode at the end I barely knew what was going on I feel they could have started slower. I don't really feel we got a proper setup in this episode but that may be coming. There was a little too much sex and implications of sex after a while it just felt they threw it in there for the sake of it.

Should be a good show though, HBO usually know what they are doing with their shows worth following.

I watched the first episode, and it was indeed pretty good. There was a free preview of HBO for Dish subscribers so I watched it. Probably going to have to stream or download the other episodes now.

Surprised no one mentioned Camelot yet, especially with the similarities. Basically it's a poorer version of this show from a rehashed storyline.

Yea, there are a lot of characters introduced and I too am a little lost (mostly I don't remember all the names). However I enjoy knowing the full dynamic of what's going in within the first episode. That keeps me wanting more. I can learn all the characters as the show progresses, not worried about that.

Just like any Greek or medieval tale, sex was going on a lot. And considering HBO's other shows this is about on par.

Btw, I'm really not sure who labeled this show into the fantasy genre. It's just medieval times. That's not fantasy IMO.

Read all four books, definitely THE best Fantasy series out there.

IT IS fantasy, it just focuses a lot more on the human side of it. Keep watching, you'll know what i mean. The first episode was amazingly done, it exceeded my expectations and this is just the beginning
As the plot unfolds, you'll take back the comparison with Camelot. At least I hope so haha ) for me it's weird to see someone compare it with Camelot.

I really liked it and I hate the fantasy genre, the one that deals with elves and wizards and all that crap, but I really liked this. It was nice to see Lena Headey on this show. She was a hot MILF on Sarah Connor Chronicles.

I usually watch everything recorded so I can skip the adverts, last nite I watched it at 9pm and watched ads and all, I'm hooked lol. Havnt enjoyed a series as much since lost. Brilliant show.

Not a bad show, is hard to keep up with all the different characters though.

Every king descendant was a black haired, Except for Geoffry. Which raises the question about how that came to be. That's the way i see it anyway! I didn't see the advance EP7, so, next week I'll be looking forward to that. It's better than waiting 2 weeks for the next episode :P
