Anonymous hacked

For those who haven’t heard, Anonymous are the group of hackers responsible for a DDoS attack on PSN and are widely thought to be behind the latest Sony hack that has seen millions of users’ personal data compromised. They see themselves as political activists, fighting for people’s rights, with their preferred slogan, “We are Legion”. Irony aplenty, Anonymous have themselves been hit by a DDoS attack of their own, carried out by a splinter cell of Anonymous members, led by maverick member “Ryan”. However, to add insult to injury, “Ryan” has taken over two of Anonymous’ websites and posted a list of every member’s IP address and the PM logs of the sites.

It really is a shame it had to come to this. Hopefully this lead will get everything taken care of soon, though, and before long all the deprived PSN users will be able to enjoy the online experience again.

Anonymous is notorious for hiding behind proxies and masking their IP addresses. There's no telling how "real" any of that is.

Some of them is probably proxy/TOR etc but i bet many of them are the real IPs. Could be times when they were to lazy to use proxies. I bet this list is useful for all the companies including FBI working with Sony to fix this mess. Maybe they can track down some members and let the lead them to the "leaders" etc?

Apparently those are the IP's of the group(Legion lol) Anonymous.
My guess is someone from within the group sold them out because he knew Sony would track them eventually and wanted to strike a deal.

Thoughts?

Oh and this isn't confirmed but it seems to be taken from official logs and it would be a lot of trouble to go to just to fake something like this.

you really think someone with that high of an intelligence of computers and networks would be that sloppy? Its extremely easy to spoof an IP let alone set up a dynamic one.

These are the IPs of the idiots that DDoSed Sony's servers. Any idiot with an Internet connection can do that. Anonymous aren't all genius computer hackers, they are sheep and morons from a popular imageboard.
