Better to get the firmware installed now and then have PSN up and running in time. But I guess we can't change our password till PSN is back up and running though.

mine has downloaded and been installed. now just patiently waiting for the rest of the world to get done so we can have it back. can't wait...any..longer..going...to...go...through...wi thdrawalllssss....help me!! ok, i'm fine now..i'm at least a lot happier now since i know it's getting closer. i'm still patient.

In EU too and only got 18% so far and been downloading for 20 mins, and as I type this I just got an error, ****!

My PS3 was updated and installed really fast, like maybe 4 or 5 minutes tops. Seems odd that so many people are having such difficulties and/or going so slow.

Anyhow, I wonder if there is any chance we can be up online as early as tonight. {wishful thinking}

..Prolly be at least Monday or Tuesday, but who knows?
