PSN Store to be up by the end of the week (new PR)

They said PSN should be fully up by the end of the week.

How nice of them. The day before all service are supposed to be back up, they now say "ohhh by June 3rd".

So now Thursday night on June 2, they will say what? ..By the "end of June"?

I know, it's only a "few days". But only a "few more days" multiplied by 15 times adds up.

Whatever Sony. Just make sure that all my personal information you demand isn't in the hands of hackers this time around huh? ..and it would be freeeakin nice that If I go buy a game and want to play it, that I won't have to wait a month after the purchase to actually play the game for its promised features listed on the back cover. Just sayin'. Hey but give us all another three year old ten dollar game to shut us up, huh?

that article in op states that

Customers can now purchase and download games and video content from the PlayStation®Store on PS3 or PSP.

and that full functionality will be available by end of week

I wonder if it will get pushed back again, Sony has been real dodgy since the beginning when PSN went down. If its up at the time they say it will be that's great but if it isn't I wouldn't be surprised at all. I won't be going back on PSN until Infamous 2 comes out then I wont be going on again until UC3 comes out. I'm keeping the PS3 strickly blu-ray player/game exclusives from now on.

I'll be laughing so hard if this is true..it means this entire PSN being down thing happened during the month I was away from my PS3 anyway. Im going home on Sunday and it will just feel like I am getting a bunch of free stuff for nothing.

I think the DLC is for multiplayer right? I don't know since I haven't purchased any for U2 since I could never play online for some weird reason. You should still be able to play the SP like it was meant to be played.

Sony gonna have a tough job convincing me to use the store until I'm more confident in their safety measures. I most certainly am in no rush to get the store back.
