    My custom PC build project

    So, i’ve posted a few things lately about my custom PC i’m building on my blog, shown you parts and information about it.

    Now i’m going to continually update this post every time a new part or accessory arrives; Here’s my build;

    ATX atrix case (basic, no need for a beast imo).

    ATX BioStar A880g+ motherboard.

    4GB of DDR3 RAM (will be 2x4GB)

    450 Watts power supply.

    Still to come;

    1. ATi HD XFX 5770 Radeon 1GB Graphics Card
    2. Another 4GB of RAM
    3. AMD Athlon II X3 Triple core 3.2 Ghz processor - will be unlocking the fourth core making it 3.2Ghz Quad Core (ordered, arriving in 2 days)
    4. 500GB SATA Hard drive
    5. 20” Monitor with DVI input.

    Follow this build here or via my blog;

    I think this is a pretty basic build. Quite cheap as well, Around 400 pounds I'd say if not less. now the real question is this for future gaming? or are you just building it for the sake of building?

    Yes you're right, will cost me 495 for the hardware, an extra 120 for the monitor. I'm building it with my budget at the minute. I'm only 17, still at school - just have a little part time job and i've always wanted a decent gaming pc. I've always had a laptop;

    So i thought, why not build one with the money i have at the minute. My intentions of the build is basically just to have a desktop pc as i said, this set up will run most games on med/high but for future games i'll look at either a new GFX card or a brand new build.

    It's all fun isn't it

    If it's for the fun of it, then you will never get enough! I build a new PC every 6-12 months, also just for the fun of it.

    There you have this stupid 30% VAT right? so, it's probably safe to say it's going to be a little bit more expensive.
