How long will it be before some politician or corporation uses this to fuel their anti-freedom agenda on the Internet? We have anon groups and hackers calling for internet freedom, but their actions are only adding drips of water to an already overburdened dam.

If it means same kind of **** that is happening in USA (limited bandwith etc) for EU too, then LulzSec, Anonymous and other 4chans spawns won't be popular around here.

It all depends. The government will do its utmost to attempt to regulate, control, and tax the internet. You can be sure of that.
Just get pissed off, be vocal and participate in elections. Don't let them take away this great thing..
